Sagg Sun / Mars Scorpio Question About Flirtations - I'm Confused!

Hi, I will try to get right to the point. Met Sagg guy, there is a flirtation going on. But I can't tell if he's sincere or just playing around.

This is an online thing right now, we've exchanged photos and have spoke, we spend a good deal of time chatting. He told me he is shy and I think he is being sincere. Anyways, he sends music to me, some are love songs. I am beginning to take the flirtation serious. The thing is I don't know if he really likes me or if he's just playing around. He also comes and goes often, but someday's things are very fiery and fun and other days he goes away (which is fine).

My questions is, if you are a Sagg would you do things like this for someone you like?

When you really like someone can you be shy? He has Mars in Scorpio I believe.

What kinds of little things could I look for that shows he's being sincere?

I am beginning to like him quite a bit but I am afraid. Any advice from a Sagg, especially males would be great. Thank you.

Thank you both for your input, yea he is direct & straightforward but I can tell he's shy with some things. He recently opened up to me about something personal and I was surprised. I will wait awhile longer to see what transpires, I'm being a bit guarded (which is why I was seeking input) but I also don't want to scare him away. I have a feeling at some point he would just say what's on his mind without me having to pull it out of him, but I may be wrong. I've never experienced a Sagg man before, so I'm in the dark here. Also, I feel like he's testing me too, I can't explain it, it's just an intuition feeling based on some of the things he's done.
