Banyan Tree (Bangkok, Thailand)
This hotel is famous for its panoramic city views, and at the very top, 'Vertigo' is its unique open-air bar-cum-restaurant which is situated 61 floors above the streets of Bangkok.

I live in Central Scotland, midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The "gateway to the highlands" as it's called.
If you're going to visit my recommendation would be April/May time weather wise. We always seem to have lovely weather in the Spring.
