The FBI is asking for assistance in locating Ahmad Khan Rahami. Rahami is wanted for questioning in connection with an explosion that occurred on September 17, 2016, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 135 West 23rd Street, New York, New York.
Rahami is a 28-year-old United States citizen of Afghan descent born on January 23, 1988, in Afghanistan. His last known address was in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He is about 5’ 6” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. Rahami has brown hair, brown eyes, and brown facial hair.
SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS

Approximately 1-1/2 days later, the suspect is apprehended in NJ.
"Two days after explosions in New York and New Jersey, investigators in both cases say they want to talk with one man: Ahmad Khan Rahami.
Soon, they could have a chance."

Recall that the video of the explosion taken from CCTV positioned across the street, was released only
in part, showing a few moments before the explosion. There was another video that was positioned much closer
the blast's epicenter. You can see the flying debris effects of the blast.
I remember thinking that there should be more to that same video showing the suspect come into view.
They did not immediately release Rahami's mug shot, until, at least, a day later. Certainly not long
before they captured Rahami.
It's for a good reason. Don't let the enemy know what you know about them or their activities.
Doing so, exposes your hand, alerts the enemy, giving him/her the knowledge to make necessary
changes in their routines, that can be counterproductive to your ability to overcome, your adversary.
The value of CCTVs on every street corner cannot be denied. - When a bomb goes off, it is a major
distraction. People react to the bomb and don't think about what they saw moments before.
Their fear and anxiety overwhelms them that they forget any suspicious details.
CCTV does NOT have that problem. It is a machine. No emotions, no nothing. It records the before
and sometimes after, such an event.
Not saying this will happen... but....
I wouldn't be surprised if this event is used, by some, to promote the use of CCTV and other means to monitor
the public. Promoting the concept of the government spying on the people. Exploiting fear as a means
to justify denying the public's right to privacy.
Another one of those "problem, reaction, solution" scenarios.
Certainly a clever means to open the door for nefarious activities, no matter how clandestine they may be.

The thing that bothers me the most is he probably resides here at taxpayers expense, in section 8 housing and taken care of with free psychiatric and medical benefits.
Then he blows up the very people who support him.
Meanwhile, since 2001, there has been a quiet shift in global economic affairs.
Namely BRIC.
BRIC is an acronym for Brazil, Russia, India and China.

IF BRIC succeeds, there IS a major possibility that the US and it's western economic allies will collapse due to their
heavy reliance upon China to produce the diverse products, Americans use.
A MAJOR Achilles' heel.
Rather than combating the global economic threat, the West just gives more and more away to their enemies.
IMHO, that's insanity.

There are some people who are desperate enough do resort to extremes, just to get attention.
Even if they are never acknowledged.
Whether that post is legit, it IS bizarre. I agree.

Was it really a homosexual? ie, someone pretending to be something they're not?

hardcore socially liberal Democratic language, covering all the bases that are
important to that party.

The "manifesto" page linked, was taken down. What you see on the link that I provided, above, is an
archive file of what that page originally contained.
IF it turns out that Rahami a) acted alone, b) his motives were more "anti-government abuse", which
IS an occurrence that every one is familiar with in one way or another....,
then I think it boils down to someone who flipped their lid and for lack of any other outlet, unloaded his
frustration the way he did.
Is it terror? No more than what the US has done, every day, around the world.
Terrorism comes in many forms. Often, it's not physical act of violence, but through some legal
means of coercion such as extortion through the law.
Think about this....
The mobster would tell a shop owner that he needs protection. He tells him what protection would cost
and the shop owner would have to make a decision.
What is the IRS?
What is the Social Security Number?
What is your driver's license/ID card?
You have to have it to "legally" work in the US.
If you don't, you be fined with some stiff penalties. If you don't pay your fine, you might be put in jail.
That's extortion.
Where's your privacy?
Where's your freedom?
See where I'm going with this?
