I was just thinking about how different I want my life with my friends vs. lovers. Why can't I allow them to collide?

yeah SB is right....I think we can be much tougher on our Lovers (i never use that word btw....sounds like a soap opera) than our friends....its a different relationship....
They're not really cut out for that, and I think women tend to forget that. We unconsiously seek that, and it confuses them.

Seriously I want the lover to be a friend too, I just allow my intense "lover feelings" to get too much in the way. I sometimes wished I could look rationally, and 10 steps back to see it as it really is, the way I see & treat my friends. Does that make sense?

...so the best thing would be to communicate, but he doesn't seem to get it. He texts me & leaves messages yesterday, but I need the day away. I visit old friends who knew guy who died, felt good to talk to people who understand.
