I am thinking about becoming a pot head

It's important that I make an informed decision.
I don't really want to talk about my other choice.

Well, from everything I know about it, it's healthier and less dangerous than drinking or hard street drugs, not to mention its natural. Out here in ca there's a growing trend towards growing plants that are more designer: losing the halucinoid compounds and keeping the medicinally bennificial ones. The science behin it is pretty interesting.

Lol hallucinogens in pot sometimes make people paranoid. The rest of the compounds do amazing things for healing, chemical imbalances, etc. I think your Pisces bits are chomping at the bit. As for laughing again, hang out with funny people. I always find stuff to laugh about. I also have a very irreverent sense of humor and a bit of a twisted mind. If you don't laugh you'll cry.

That's what a few people I know have said about their experiences with pot, that the felt paranoid. The stuff without the compound for hallucinations doesn't seem to cause that. Personally, I wouldn't know. I've never messed with drugs.

Lol it's not legal everywhere, but is in a few states. I have a few friends who have their green cards. You're allowed to grow, with tight limits for personal use, and possess, also with limits.

Weed does not make you "paranoid" it makes you hideously aware of the jungle we live in, you either have a flight or fight response to that awareness. People just call it paranoia because it makes it sound like a bad thing. In actual fact it is a gift, only when you look at it as paranoia do you fall into the own trap of your mind.

you feel more clearly so things people say you can sense the evil/good in their breath. you can feel the muscle tension in your body and it freaks you the fuck out. At the same time you can feel the magic in music and art and in laughter....

This is actually a really good description.

For me, though-- I can already sense the good/evil, thanks, and what weed gives me is

a HYPER-Awareness that is just uncomfortable, at best... esp if it settles on me.

If I'm going to be altered, I want the edges to be rounded out, and the burden lifted--

effortlessly, mind you.

I don't want to have to think and I certainly don't want to know what *you* are thinking.

The last time I had the benefit of exiting reality, I was at the dentist and he gave me

so much nitrous I swear, I saw colors. 😄

Just strip down while drunk and come help clean my horse corrals. That should get you dirty. Or there's the getting dirty sexual thing. That's a bit different, and fun. Being drunk is overrated. I've only been drunk twice. Luckily I'm a very happy drunk. Singing skills suffer horribly, though. Silly factor increases by 200.

When I tried it I became paranoid and very scared. It was a horrible first experience. *cries*

Devils weed... same as jimson weed?

Anyway... good point--

Though the opium and meth people come by here (the US) is typically going to be synthetic.

That isn't to say that the authentic variety is somehow better for you-- it isn't.

I'm not saying that everything that is natural is also good for someone. I'm saying that pot is safer than concocted drugs, and that includes most pharmaceuticals.

I'm not for or against pot I don't use it and I prefer not to be around people that are using it. Sure it has its benefits for pain relief but 99% of the people smoke it to get high plain and simple. Is it addictive, yes I work with a guy that had to go to rehab. I knew a guy he smoked pot like they were cigarettes he died early.

Weed feels different for everyone that's for sure.

For me I get very focused when I'm blitzed.
Everything is important, unique and amazing.

Especially music OMG!
Biking in the night, listening to Modest Mouse, pedalling to the beat and looking at graffiti blows the minds.
Everything is so UNIFORM.
Everything has a PURPOSE.
Everything has a MEANING.

I also start laughing hysterically at things I wouldn't normally find funny.

The only setback is I can only smoke alone...MOST comfortable when I'm smoking alone though, somewhere close to home or I get EXTREMELY paranoid and cant enjoy it.

thats what man made thc is meant to do. keep you addicted...and panaroid so you can go to the doctor...say you have anxiety...use what makes you paranoid to fix it...and stay a legal addict...government wins.
