Why? Cause Ima "big picture" kind of guy and most conflicts are usually just a total waste of time, no real threat...just wasting my time...Its rare that ppl really run into "real" conflict, like my life or a love ones' life in danger for example...if thats the case for me then im all in, all hands on deck .....

Cancer's or myself don't like conflict but I don't back down if push comes to shove I stand my ground I've gotten into screaming matches I really don't feel that good afterwards. Water signs in general but we don't back down when we get shoved but we are not into fighting.
Today for instance I had a guy get in my face all huffy I'm thinking to myself I don't need to get in a squabble I just dealt with it in a civil manner. Most guys that want to get in my face back off when they realize hmm we better not screw with him.

Posted by Stihl46I don't know, but the one has his SO approach people with issues instead of himself. I usually respond that he needs to tell me if he has an issue otherwise I will keep doing it. Other times when I see it is causing a huge riff, I will stop just to make sure SO doesn't have anything happen because of Scorp.

I'm a true scorpio girl and although I prefer harmony in relationships, I'll always face a conflict head on and rather discuss things with my friend or partner openly instead of hiding in a shell. I also always do my dirty work myself and would hate it, if another person does things for me that way...

I know the guy and KARMA can be a BITCH
I used to be quite aggressive and confrontational (still am slightly), but have to take the higher road now days and pick and choose confrontations wisely... I canot get into anymore legal trouble / assault charges.
Trying to show good parenting, guidance, leadership to my boys means I had to make some self analytical changes.
Scorp broke up with me once by text and the next time by email. Just sayin....

As an aries I don't shy away from it or back down, unless proved wrong lol. However I'm less confrontational now I'm in my mid 30's compared to younger years.

I think I care depending on who they are. I don't want to put on a fake front, but I don't like to be misunderstood. Sounds like some pretty good advice you received.
I used to tend to avoid conflict at all costs. I've always been known as 'the sweet/kind/nice' girl. I hate making people angry or upset. So normally I'd just get dumped on, overlooked or bulldozed. I didn't ever ask anyone to fix my problems, I never even brought them up to others. But on occasion, normally after months of escalation, others would start to notice and try to fix the problem with the person since I obviously wasn't doing anything about it. Even still, I'd say one out of a dozen times others would do something.
But I eventually got tired of being taken advantage of, being crapped on and bullied. There are some dirtbags that shit on you just because you're a person who will take it. I got some great advice from a Capricorn and Libra Lady about not being concerned with how others perceived me and being more concerned with the quality of life I wanted in my work and relationships. So now I'm slowly getting better at addressing conflict, handling my business and taking care of things myself.
I think it's also an age thing too maybe. The women who gave me advice said that as I started to get older and closer to my thirties I wouldn't care as much about the perception of others and they're totally right.

I broke up with someone over the phone once. I knew it wasn't going to work and didn't want to spend the day pretending with him in front of my family. I felt bad about it and should have done it to his face. he told me he was going to do it the next day if we were going to hang out.
