I'm sorry about your cat, Phoenix. 😢My mother just lost both hers....her youngest one passed first (vet said kydney cancer) and then the older one passed a few weeks later (don't know why, they think loneliness) They were up there in double digits, as far as age.
I know it can be really tough. They are just like family.
Absolutely! I don't know what I would do without my ginger ninja some days! He has the knack for going crazy when I am in a jaw busting mood or comes for snuggles when the ice is melting!
It's very sad- big hugs... I know I find a cat easier to deal with than some/ most people 😐

I went for dinner to a great restaurant here

and they had duck breast with marshmellow cubes and a raspberry sauce... the whole degustation menu (and wines) were AMAZING!!!
but honestly- the first time I tried fresh tuna sashimi with a little soy and wasabi- that was a magical moment
Mine, a "Charlie Brown Cheesecake".....Oh. My. God. The best thing I've ever had. It sounds like an old ho-hum cheesecakes, but nu-un. Heaven.........

But he's still going strong.
He survived being outside during a tornado, getting shot with a pellet gun, being attacked by a pit bull, being poisoned, etc...
He sounds like Horse from this well known Kiwi cartoon- Footrot Flats!

Me too- well, exercising and such- not counting calories, food journals etc are a waste of time for me- I forget...
I have had approximately 8x little Lindt chcocolate truffles/ balls today *hic* gymming it off in an hour 😉
I actually had a tuna steak medium well for the first time while I was in Mexico---very, very, very nice.

Thanks. Yeah, my little one died of kidney failure. He sounded so bad, would just curl up with me and wouldn't eat...Broke my heart when they put him to sleep. I didn't think I would miss him so much. He's been my partner in crime through many apartments and when I celebrated getting my first home, a few boyfriends, kept me company when I pulled a few all nighters during school...awww man. I'm kind of regretting that I mentioned it. I miss him again.
