I was thinking about this before...

I was wondering what you all have for MOMS and DADS.
Please post the mom/dad SUN SIGN COMBONIATION and describe the relationship...(good, bad, non-existant) I just think it would be really interesting to see the data. You might even want to post yer siblings' signs as well...family signs!!



ME:

I am a Scorp child with a SAG. for a dad and an (Oct.) SCORP for a mom. Doomed union—?

They are separated now, but were together for a very long time...I helped my dad move into his own place (2 seconds down the street) when I was 18. My mom was devastated. They have a wierd relationship now though, they are friends and they hang out...but I still don't get what the deal is, they clearly don't either.

Also, both of my parents consulted me frequently for advice about their situations (before, during and after separation)- my mother more though. Kinda wierd. Mom- trying to ask me about my dad..."what is WRONG with your faaaahther??"

They always treated me more like a "friend" than a daughter. I was very (a little too) independent growing up.
Interesting dynamic, my family. Don't even get me started on my sister...

sb- I have younger Libra sib, she is the exact POLAR opposite of me in every possible, conceivable way.

Scorpionlady, sorry to hear about the deceased in your family, which makes me wonder, I don't really know cancers that live long. Is their sign really cancerous to their lifespan?

TG - My dad is a cancer and is in his 70s although he is very ill now. Both grandmothers are/were cancers and one is still alive at 84 the other died just after turning 90.

Lucky you, my grandparents were all dead before 70. My dad turns 70 this year, eeeeek!

Topazwoman, what was your family life like? The signs in your family intrigue me. I don't really know what my family members are. I don't really try to find out about other signs unless I like the person and I want to understand them more. Me:

No anger, not really. Ok can't stand them. We were not close growing up, plus they felt jealous and left out of the loop. My scorp sis and I were/are very close like the relationship twins share. Other sisters couldn't understand. So there was lots of resentment. Still is.

I understand, I was not always close with my sister, being the middle sister was sometimes very hard and depressing. my sister and I are close know or for a better word we understand each other now

I think my mat. grandma is a Leo and my grandpa was a Gemini (died in his 80's)
Pat. grandma may be Taurus and my grandpa who died in an accident at work...(?) I hear he was a terrible flirt and very handsome... I'll guess an air sign lol

My great grandma is a Scorp and still alive at 106 this year in Nov! She just had surgery on her leg cuz she broke it 😢 But she's very healthy, sweet and funny 🙂

Its supposed to be a good match but after about 20 yrs together, it ended. Mom is now very happy with a Cancer while my dad stayed single. Like Littlesparrow said earlier, Air and Water signs which are supposed not really gel together are actually quite common.

i happen to know a lot of successful cancer/gemini relationships (my grandparents & my aunt/uncle). they do happen to go quite well together. it could also be becuz the signs are right next to each other (that symbolizes a beneficial friendship).

Mom very faithful, but not 'much romantic' according to my dad. Dad very loving and caring doing everything possible for us, but mom has always been very selfish, although very charming and gentle.

i agree with you on the maturity thing DB. I usually tend to get along really well with Water signs, they seem more human to me (as strange as that may sound, take it as u will)

Scorpio and Gemini? i think both signs need to be evolved/mature to make that one work longterm. One cool thing is, i'm sure its never boring which is something both signs don't want.
