It's an ugly addiction. There is none uglier. If you're going to be supportive, you might need real help, like NA or something.

They say the snorters will eventually go to needles , really hope he hasn't taken that route, haven't spoken to him or seen him in a month. He's been saving people his whole life , he's a firefighter, but also always there for the ppl he loves. The first time I didn't know just how bad it was, but thankfully nothing ever happened between us. We just hung out at work together a lot. I saw him do self-destructive things, and when I saw him shit his pants, that ruined the crush. I have no idea whatever happened to him. The second time I gave up as soon as I realized what he was dealing with, which was when he rolled up his sleeve and said "I'm a junky." He didn't need a new girlfriend. He needed to deal with his shit. He hit rock bottom shortly after that. Stole from his parents and friends, got arrested, was homeless for a while, and then in rehab.
