Well it can a little i guess. I have five planets in Scorpio and four are in the 7th so for me it is a bit more out there. What are his other placements?

I'm exceptionally devoted to the one I choose. I have to choose them though and they have to absolutely return my sentiments. This where the uncompromising part is often a problem lol.

Now that sounds more familiar. He initiated at the beginning and a year in we had an argument (over something petty but he was under immense pressure at the time) in his anger he said he was done (him been a cap I took him seriously) so I never contacted him again and detached myself physically not mentally I missed him like crazy (my aqua Venus). 2 months later he came back apologising and saying that he was out of order and took his frustration of other things out on me and that he said it inthe heat of the moment. Point being it was his decision to get back in touch he could have just stayed away. My sentiments are definitely returned.

I used to think so too.
But now I think, I have overwhelming wells of love and devotion to give that deserve to go only to someone who can truly appreciate it. I want myself a king or queen to reign through life with, someone as human as me, no a savior or angel type. I need an equal who might have a little more romantic courage and emotional awareness than the average lot.
You sound exactly like him. He says he's grown and changed a lot as he's got older. We both have the same opinion with regards to wanting an equal. My marriage was not like that at all and I've learnt and between from it.

You shouldn't see it as a negative but as a positive. If you're going to have that attitude you're stopping yourself from allowing love to come to you. You're writing it off without giving it a chance

Tbh, i've had my fair share and don't need any at the moment. I have a son so wouldn't be looking whilst he is still with us and my life is fulfilling.....i am living my dream, so am not looking outwards, but inwards....getting to know myself...at last!

I've always read the vis descriptions and wondered if I'm crazy but in denial lol
I do relate to some traits like being private, loving people deeply and that if we loved someone its for good but astrologist make it seem like we do that out of possessiveness or bc we're simply obsessive (I'm obsessive but not in the way they've described)

haha, I don't think it's always denial if a person doesn't relate to the standard descriptions.
I've known a lot of people with Venus in Scorpio. More often than not, the way you just described it about being private etc, fits quite well -- good summary. The cray level of possessiveness and obsession that so many writeups about this placement describe rarely has fit anyone I've known.
Just looking at Venus in Scorpio alone, not the rest of a chart, doesn't help much. Mine interacts with so many things in my chart, plus it's in the 6th house, so that's going to colour how mine expresses itself, I'm sure.

In real life:
With men - they get jealous EXTREMELY fast with me ?. Joke about it at first, but I look at them and I know it's not a joke, they can't fake it to me. If we get closer, the cage starts becoming much more obvious?.
With women - they have an air of intensity to them, even as friends. Eyes are much more intense and expectations are much more hard-core, front and center?. There is no warming up to you... it gets intense pretty fast.
You seem SUPER calm to me. I would have assumed Libra or Virgo Venus from you!

((shudder)) for the jealousy you've seen come out. 😢 I felt totally claustrophobic reading that -- perfect visual with the cage. The men I've known well who have Venus in Scorpio didn't have that issue, thankfully, but one of them definitely had issues with jealousy when it came to achievements in life (if people were more successful than he was financially, for example).
I think there is good reason to see the Virgo and Libra in me, so cool. 🙂 My Venus is in the 6th house, and so are 4 other planets in my chart. I relate a lot to Virgo traits. My sun is in the 7th house, and so is my Mercury. I also have Libra Mars. Plus my mother is a super Libra (sun and 4 planets in Libra) and I'm close to her so my Libra traits have likely developed more strongly with that influence in early childhood and beyond.

Wow. I was just thinking about this placement because my friend is falling for a guy with a Venus in Scorpio. I actually know quite a bit and they're all the same.
They're super charming but they have this sketchiness attached to it. It's like you REALLY want to believe someone is that interested in you.. but how could they be? The ones I know get kind of attached and they actually do the long distance thing? One tried to keep a 3 month old relationship going after moving across the country. He's still obsessed with her. The other one that my friends talking to is in her home state also across the country. Another guy I know got stationed in San Diego but always talks about us falling in love and me moving to California.
Maybe they're not all like that? I've never seen the crazy side except my mother. That woman was a nut when she was married to my dad. Constantly accusing him of cheating (while cheating) but she's a very generous and caring person otherwise.
