Sometimes disappearing doesn't mean we aren't interested. A lot of times, we just stop talking for a bit or go MIA for a bit to get things in order. Or sometimes just mentally recharge. A lot of times I say to myself "They know I care" because I have told them "Listen, unless I state otherwise, just know I care".

Depends on the chaos. I can disappear for a day, for a week, for several weeks at a time. Sometimes upwards of a month.

Answer: I like to chase, if you make it too easy for me, I get bored. So you gotta go.
Scenario 2: I emotionally opened myself up to him/her, only to have them go cold on me and stop communicating with me. What happened?
Answer: I can say for myself, I sometimes drop off the face of the Earth for no other reason than because I have stuff going on in my life that is taking priority. But sometimes, you just got way too needy and clingy for my taste.
Scenario 3: I broke up with him/her, will they get in touch with me?
Answer: Move on. If you made the decision to break it off, don't sit there and wonder why the other person isn't chasing you. Most scorpios I know hate these type of mind games you are trying to play on them. Breaking up with someone to "get their attention" doesn't work on us.
Scenario 4: He/She just doesn't how much he hurt me because (insert reason), and I told them over and over again. Why don't they get it?
Answer: Chances are you aren't really a priority. There are some evil Scorpios in the world that can manipulate you into thinking they care, when in fact, they are just using you for some sort of purpose. Sorry.
Those are all the scenarios I can think of, but I am sure you guys will have more.

Where the confusion comes in is I'll give you conversation, laugh at SOME of your jokes.. but I'll slowly back off if you just don't set me off to want something more... I can't even have sex with someone I'm not feeling... You don't peak my interest, we don't vibe so sex is out of the question... SO if that's all you talk about (sex) or you ask for pics (TURN-OFF), then I know where your head is at & you eventually don't get much from me after that... I'll quickly fall back... Because they know they hurt you, and they did it on purpose so you would leave them the fuck alone. They probably warned you beforehand; you failed to listen. Let go of your attachment to one person. Scorpios are not your saviors. Everybody uses their partner for some sort of purpose. Personally, I am basically an honest scorpio, so the terms of the deal and who is using who for what are laid out openly.
One must also consider love, yes, and going beyond the call of duty for those you love. The minute I feel trapped in a relationship, I know it's not what I want. I may put up with it for a long time, years, out of love, but if the trapped feeling persists then I'm out.
