Scorpio and Aquarius parents

I guess in general?
Like would they be normal parents? Attached? Detached?
Would the kids grow up dysfunctional? I'm kidding lol
Would they be family oriented?
Just curious what its household would be like. Having fixed parents and all.
I have a Scorpio mum and an Aquarius dad. Honestly it is not a good mix.
And yes we are a dysfunctional family, but I have to say I'm glad we are, it keeps things interesting for the most part. In saying that though, I feel my parents are still only together because of fear of being alone. After nearly 30 years together, they hate each other as much as they love each other.
My mum is a typical Scorpio, controlling, possessive and jealous but she has her reasons. My dad has cheated and mistreated her over the years and though he doesn't want to be with any other woman, he doesn't seem to understand the concept of respect when it comes to her needs of security. He hasn't cheated (as far as we know) for many years, but sometimes his behaviour is inappropriate in a sense that it disrespects their union.
He too can be jealous and controlling, more so then her. When I was younger and she would want to catch up with her friends or go out for a night out to dance and let her hair down, he would absolutely lose his temper, causing some kind of a fight so she would stay home in fear of leaving us at home with him. Her wanting to see her friends or go out was a very rare Occassion, maybe once or twice a year but in the end her friends stopped inviting her places or to events because they knew she'd either say no or cancel at the last minute. She would make up some excuse like she was tired after working all week or tht one of us kids were sick so her friends wouldn't grow resentment towards my dad, but I think they knew it was his doing.
My mum is very family orientated, she honestly is the backbone of the family. I'm not sure that my dad is, I love the man but he's very selfish. He tries to manipulate us all into being scared of the world, instilling fear into us so that we feel we need him, when in actual fact it's he who needs us. He and I get into a lot of arguments (I never hold any resentment though) because I'm very independent and he knows I don't need him. He will never admit it though, but he is without a doubt one of the most dependant people I know. Wouldn't even know how to call a doctor and make an appointment for himself If he were sick, he's always relied on my mum for everything.

I find so much irony in that. You would think your Aquarius dad understood the importance of space. I wonder what moons your parents have.
I don't know the times of their birth but based off of the information I do know, I believe my mums moon is in Taurus and my dads is in virgo.
It's funny though because I am also a Scorpio (think the name may have given it away) and my brother is an Aquarius. I think we both managed to possess less of the dark/bad qualities of our star signs thanks to recognising them in our parents and not wanting to turn out like them, being as unhappy as they are in their lives.
I love my family and wouldn't choose any other over mine, but as to answer your question; perhaps Scorpio and Aquarius can make a good romantic duo (I've always been a fan of the stories that out beat the odds) but from my personal experience they just don't mesh well together.
It's funny though because I am also a Scorpio (think the name may have given it away) and my brother is an Aquarius. I think we both managed to possess less of the dark/bad qualities of our star signs thanks to recognising them in our parents and not wanting to turn out like them, being as unhappy as they are in their lives.

The fights were EPIC. Mom screaming and crying at the top of her lungs while dad sits there, lips pursed, arms crossed. Mom slamming the front door on her way out to nobody knew where. Virgo brothers and me just disgusted, Cancer sister is out of sight.
This happened just about every 2 months growing up.
I've disowned my Cancer sister due to serious crazytown behavior. Actually, she kind of disowned the rest of the family before anyone else, but still demands her fair share of whatever she wants, whuch changes bi monthly. I can't remember her birthday but she's an attention whore to the nth degree. The perpetual victim.
Then there's me and the aqua...opposites attract, love for sure but serious knock down, drag out fightd between his Ares Mars and my Leo mars in the beginning. My Libra venus just sits back while my scorp Neptune befuddles his (aqua) venus.
