He swears that he's crazy about me and that his job is very demanding right now and he is asking me for patience to get things settled. His words exactly were: " I am asking for a little patience as I build my client list. I promise I will try to work harder at getting us together."

This clientele he is speaking about is news to me. He also failed to mention to me that he's in a new position at his place of business. Had he told me some of these pressures, I would be totally, TOTALLY understanding of his lack of attention. HOWEVER, HOWEVER, this is the first he tells me of it...after it took me saying "Enough is enough"

who knows? i think i'll play the "i'm not going to respond to his 3 emails until tomorrow" game...

on the plus side, he's admitted he's crazy about you. for me, if he's telling you the truth, then that's putting his neck out a lot already, especially since you guys just started seeing each other.

as a scorp it takes me awhile to say that much to someone, coz when i do share my feelings i really mean it, and i need to make sure the person i say it to will value those feelings.

hey everyone. no, i'm not interested in him anymore. i don't think it's so much that he was a commitment phobe, but more of a Don Juan wannabe.

he confessed that the night he stood me up he was out with a girl - but only hanging out with her, nothing more. if that were the case, why not say so? what did he have to hide if nothing happened?

And since he stood you up one night to be with another girl I see honesty is not his best suit and that's not really cool at all. There is no need to lie so early in "the game" i say screw him! after "much thought", i get a very long email from him this afternoon stating how he's realizing with his increase workload that he just isn't ready for a relationship right now....blah blah blah to me, that's translation for "I've found someone else"
