Scorpio Women are meant to stay single forever
Yep. I get this same impression lol.
Yet for some reason, men still love me. You see, its really more of a perspective thing. Our GOOD side is SO good, that when they LOSE it, it hurts bad enough that they can't be civil and nice, but have to tear us apart. Plus, I know I can be pretty nasty if you hurt me. Scorpios are all or nothing. So we are evil, and we are angels.

I totally agree with Spartaculous. It is all or nothing. Ran into that twice in my life. Once years ago and once very recent. Enjoyed the Scorps matureness but did not know where I stood. Scorps are very friendly when they want know but loose interest very fast when you do not measure up to their unbelieve high standards. When you make a mistake, it is the cold shoulder forever. No forgiveness. Nothing changes their mind. Must move on.

As far as high standards are concerned--it depends on the so-called mistakes and how early into the relationship we are. Once in 100% , hell I know I tend to think my partner's mistakes are cute and are the very things that endear them to me--unless those mistakes involve violence or betrayal or something...
Is it wrong for me to say that I honestly don't mind my own company so being alone isn't a huge problem for me? However, being in a *good* relationship is so much better that being alone at the end of the day.

To provide a little detail to Scorps who cut if off totally on their way of viewing things. My first scorp was older than me who was going through a divorce. We talked about marriage and family. She had a very young daughter from her marriage. As her divorce was close to be being finalized, she asked me what is happening between us. I knew what she meant and I responded that she should get divorced first then we will talk. She interpet this as I was not interested in pursuing our relationship to the next level. Soon after this conversation, she changed. I would come over to her place and she would have plans all weekend. This would be either with herself or with her daughter. Soon after taking this for a short time I decided this is not what I wanted. We split up. A couple of years later, we met and talked about this. My interpetation of her of what happend was right on how she saw our relationship. I explained that what I meant was for her to get her divorce finalized as it was messing her up and once divorced who she want some time to think and to be sure we wanted to get married again and start with our family. I was completely divoted to her young daughter. Best time of my life. See how Scorp interpet what someone says without discussing it. Someone said that Scorps look how to destroy their relationships so that they can end it before the other person does.

I love the intensity I possess but I also love having fun and being free spirited. It really depends on the scenario and who I'm with, though. I'm currently NOT single- with another Aries lady. We get along great 98% of the time 🙂
I am loyal and expressive of my love for 2 people outside of my family- that is a close friend of mine and my girlfriend. I'm not particularly terrible towards anybody, but I can act as if there's a wall between me and everyone else when I'm not close with them. I love honesty no matter what and I will give it to you, without cherries on top. THAT can dock off points for certain people...not everyone wants the blunt, hard truth.

Dnt no ,a lot of scorp I no come off as if they like pain ,hurt, and sorrow. I had chance to get to no a scorp coworker. We would eat lunch togather and talk shit. She would complain about guys she dated. She even ask me how did I last so long with my scorp boyfriend, because she wanted a meanful relationship. Issues she had is she's very selfish she would do things that She didn't want done to her. Also she was very inpulsive,she does things with out thought.also respect she get into relationship with out having respect for them or they having respect for her. Sex was a issue with her too , I also notices that she love to argue and have drama it was like she enjoy emotional pain. I told her all this and she got real piss I didn't care because she ask me and we talk long enough to keep shit real ,she wanted a dam month to tell me that it was true wat I had said.

I don't know if i'm maybe alone in this theory, but it seems like everyone always has nothing but negative things to say about scorpios , especially the women. We are always the aggressors, who have a "hidden " agenda to take over the world, we are always the cause of many other people's sorrows, and our cons always outweighs our pros. So looking at the laundry list of negative attributes, our horrible sign stamped us with for life I have started to grow comfortable with the idea that maybe living a life of quite servant to man-kind alone is much better than having to put other signs through such horrible ordeal of dating us; or God forbids if they marry us....cause we are the devil ( probably his zodiac sign is scorpio too).
p.s. when its time for me to have children, there is always sperm banks. 🙂
I think the thing about we Scorpios is we have a bad combination of being private/quiet souls who just don't give a fuck what people think. Meaning it take a lot for people to get to know us. For many people that is frustrating, which leads them to throw their hands up (really in defeat) and then make assumptions about why we won't let them in (e.g. "you're scared to love", "you're just heartless", etc...). The problem is we don't care enough to correct them. We care more about the fact that we accomplished our goal of only letting you get so close and know just so much about us.

Not really. I value companion a great deal, in fact my husband is naturally my best friend. But he is also my lover
and I do feel very much attracted to him. A relationship that is based in no attraction can not ever reach the type of intensity and merging scorps crave for. In my case, I also couldn't be with someone knowing there was a nr. 1 elsewhere.
If I never had met nr. 1, I could think there was no better option and that was it. That is the way I am, an hopeless romantic.
How about you dear? Have you come accross that situation and what is your opinion?
from my experience i think they should let go and love for a bit.

Typical Scorpio answer. It's not me it's you. Well it's not. It is You. As someone wrote, make good lovers but poor marriage material. Unbelievable standards that even Scorpios can not even meet.

people tend to take scorpio at arms length because they are destructive,charming, manipulators, witty, selfish, intelligent, strategic and will fight to the end for what they want which i think is admirable, and sure there usually comes some deceptive trait with this. I like to look at a relationship with a scorpio as a sort of dance. although the dance alters depending on the scorp you have taken it up with. "1,2,3,4....1,2,3,4" never two dances will be the same. Its an emotional day out lol like being on a rollercoaster, and i love being on a roller coaster. The challenge is exhilatering, a good laugh and throughs dynamics around. For someone that can make you feel as much as a scorp does or challenges your brain into looking at things from a new perspective is something that not many other signs can achieve. the female scorp i think just wants to be the center of whoever she's with universe, that they are the bee all and end all of what ever they are doing, and that they are whats most important. in the whole time i have been associated with scorps i have never found them to physically frightening, they like to dish out a more mental way of punishing you. if you can stand up to this making your mind strong. you will see that it will be the scorpio who is in awe.. They now the amount of destruction and chos they leave in their wake, and to see you standing as stronger character will stirr emotions they probably never new they had in the first place.

my best friend is a scorp woman....if there is anything negative to say about her patterns in relationships then only that she is too devoted, too honest, too caring and blindly loyal and fails to see the flaws (or oversees them) - i suppose some men could interpret this as pressure.

One of my best friends is a Scorpio woman with borderline personality disorder and she is one of the smartest, most self-aware, respectful, open, attentive of others (despite her illness) and least self-pitying people I know. Having that sort of strength deserves acceptance and support in a relationship, not just for Scorpio women but for all women.
