Just so you know, this is going to be a long post. So, I'm a Sagittarius male, and this girl I like is a Scorpio. We first met about a year ago at the grocery store that I work at as she and her now ex boyfriend were always coming through my line. So, one day, she comes through my line and let's me know that she is now single. She would then come in after that and would wait and wait in a really long line just to talk to me. So, I added her on facebook, and we started facebook messaging each other. We started to get to know each other and it seemed like we had so much in common I couldn't believe it. She told me that she won't date anyone unless they are a vegan, which I am, she told me she wants to date a guy who is in the 10 year age range of being older than her, which I am, (me being 44, her being 34) and she is into the same sort of books, and movies that I am into. I'm a huge nerd, and so I am attracted to nerdy women, which she is. So, we continued talking and talking, and I didn't know that she was dating someone at the time, but she told me she was, but he kept hurting her and blowing her off, so I was just a friend for her and supported her when she was going through hard times with him. Well, he blew her off on Thanksgiving and when she found out later that I was alone on Thanksgiving, she told me she wish she would've known as she would had me spend Thanksgiving with her. We still continued to talk and she told me that things weren't going well with them, and then I asked her if she had any plans for Christmas, and she told me that some guy who is interested in her wants her to go to Las Vegas with him. I then asked her if she would like to spend Christmas with me instead, and she told me yes. So, our first date was Christmas Eve at my brother and his wife's place. She absolutely LOVED my brother and his wife (my brother is a fellow Scorpio, so I'm sure she could sense that). On the drive back to her place, she and I just talked about books that her and I are into, and I instantly fell for her as I am attracted to intelligence and someone who has similar interests as me. For our next date, she invited me over to her place and she made dinner for me, and she wanted me to bring my dog as she loves dogs. She instantly fell in love with my dog too and was even giving him as these cute little nicknames. After she made me dinner, we sat on the couch and watched Netflix. I didn't try to make a move on her as unlike other Sagittarius', I am not disrespectful towards women and in a hurry to get them into bed with me. Through our texting and facebook messaging, she has told me that I'm a seriously great guy and really sweet. I didn't see her for about a week as she had made plans for New Years to spend with her friends out of town. So, she then started inviting me to go swing dancing with her, which took her awhile to do as she didn't want me to go swing dancing with her when we first started dating. I had never gone swing dancing before but I told her that I am willing to learn how as I know that swing dancing is important to her. So, I started taking lessons. So, we started meeting at the dance club to go swing dancing, and that's where all of our dates, or hanging out and getting to know each other have been ever since. The first night there that I was with her, she made it a point to bring me around and introduce me to all of her friends. The thing is though, because she is a Scorpio, she has a tendency to attract men, and guys are literally circled around her whenever we are out dancing, and she is in the corner talking to them. Because I am Sadge, I'm usually a pretty good judge of character, and right off the bat some of them I just did not get a good feel for. Well, one of them, who didn't know that she and I had started dating was always over by us trying to take her away from me so that he could talk to her and a few times he even brought girls over to dance with me so that he could have her all to himself. I even told her that I really don't get a good feeling from him, and she told me that he's her friend and that he's harmless. He also will sit there and talk to other girls when she hasn't shown up at the club yet, but as soon as she gets there, he just goes over to her and just talks to her. The other night when we went dancing, he kept getting close and cozy with her and kept trying to put his arm around her, which I noticed she pushed away from him and chose to stand and turn around and talk to him as he was sitting on the table when he did this. Being a Sadge, this kind of made me mad and jealous that he kept doing this so I got up and left the table and went on the dance floor and danced with some girls as I did not want to confront him, because I know how protective Scorpio women are of their friends, and ironically, like you Scorp women, Sagittarius men can get extremely jealous and quite possessive as well. At the end of the night, she told me she was leaving, and so I walked her out to her car with one of her other guy friends, and I noticed that the guy I had just mentioned had given her a hug and it looked like he had kissed her on the head too, which enraged me. So, I kept quiet and just walked with her out to her car with one of her other guy friends. The thing is, she and I usually talk before she gets in her car and tells me goodnight. Instead, she talked with her guy friend and gave him a hug and she said goodnight to me, as I was standing by my car waiting to talk to her and then she just got in her car and drove home. That really hurt, as I felt like she had ignored me the whole night, and then felt like she had blown me off by doing that. I'm not like other Sadge's, where if I like a girl, I commit 100% to that relationship and have never cheated with any girl I have been with, even when they treated me like crap. Do you feel like she is putting me through tests that Scorpio women are so known for doing? Just the previous day when I texted her letting her know I was going through some stuff, she immediately sent me some links to some meditation vids and then added a message saying: "I hope you feel better!" I thought things were going good with us, as when we are dancing, I will catch her across the room looking at me and then giving me a huge smile, and this same night when we did get to have a couple of dances, she held my hand for a little while after the dance had ended as we were walking back off the dance floor. I just hope that her being a Scorpio she picks up that some of these other guys would never love her as much as I would, and that she has already read them and knows what they are really like, as she told me she has already read me and knows that I'm a great guy. I also look at it as she has known these guys a lot longer than she has known me, and she has already told me that she gets asked out all the time, and she chose to date me over them, but then stuff like what happened the other night makes me question the relationship sometimes. She has even let me know a few weeks ago that she went out of town on a hiking trip with a guy but that he's just a friend. I look at it like she wouldn't have told me if she didn't care about me. Right now, since I feel hurt, I am just giving her her space and not texting her or facebook messaging her as I hope she starts to miss my messages and contacts me. If she does, should I let her know that what she did really hurt me, or should I just talk to her like nothing happened? Should I attempt to make contact, or wait and see if she contacts me first to see why she hasn't heard from me? I don't want to upset her in any way, as I know once you upset a Scorpio woman, it's hard for them to forgive you. Does it sound like she is testing me, and should I just be patient and let the relationship continue? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
