Scorpios and love

It's been said scorps don't take lovers, they take hostages! The sun as natural ruler of leo, radiates with warmth, generosity and the desire to experience its own lovingness in the eyes of the beloved; the sun says I trust you, dear lover, until you give me reason not to. Pluto, on the other hand sees it differently; I trust no one until such some one gives me reason to. Effectively then pluto tends to attempted "killing" of the sun, as self-protection. More simply, scorps have pluto issues, in general, from the past, which relate to feeling unlovable and worthless. Often they grew up with lots of guilt, shame, manipulation, abuse and are likey to have perceived "abandonement" in some form on the parental front, literal or otherwise. This is especially relevant for scorpio rising. Scorps are internally very frightened people and this is in fact the source of their great fearlessness!!! To them, courage isn't the absence of fear but the guts to take fear on. This is different form simple aries bravery, which doesn't see the danger in the first place or feel pluto's oppresion and complexity modualting it's desires. Scorps want to grow beyond their fears and can do so like no one few others. They need a partner who will sink to rock bottom and up to the sky with them if required, in their quest for transformation. Those who can't hang will be eliminated, sooner or later. But scorp means to love forever, generally, and doesn't, as a water sign, take hurting others lightly. But they definitely don't want a stagnant life either. Scorps let others go often because few have the stamina or desire to endure the emotional hardships they can place themselves in. Thus scorps are often ridden with guilt. They want out, but it's not always that simple. Scorps, frankly, need to let go and let who ever their higher power is. They could take a leaf from pisces notebook here and learn to trust in life's eternal processes with the faith that time brings more than old age, it brings clarity, wisdom and healing as well. Try thinking out of your box and say to yourself, I will trust as my sun truly wants me to, until the poor SOB'S really do cheat, steal, lie, use or whatever the inner paranoia convincves you has already taken place. I have no faith in any particular religion---only in that whatever is "out there" is precisely as it "ought" to be. Pluto rules, even me!

This has been the most candid admission about scorpene weaknesses so far. Many must have known it all along though.

My take on this is that they try to intimidate/manipulate others so that their interior is not exposed and measured up. They indeed have a morbid strand in the fearlessness they exhibit.

The whole concept of "need" is there to be analyzed and not disposed of in a hasty manner.
Character can be both inhertited and bulit over time.

About the "reality" part , I think Greatwhite has already done a beautiful job.

Guru...how far the concept of need be analysed...its down to the individual to realise his/her shortcomings..not for anyone out there to realise that..And Scorps can tell these kind of folk a mile..we can smell you out of the crowd...

Coz U guys have trained all the life to dig out the negatives and manipulate. As far as analysis is concerned, our belief is very simple, dig out the solution and not the conclusion.

Of course strong individuals like the "scorps" can handle their respective lives in isolation but there are some who need unflinching support and not disdain.

Monopoly may have been Ur ruse but in my view "upliftment" is paramount.
