Well, what does he like?
he likes to dress really nice....but he has tons of clothes. He likes sports...so I thought some tickets to the football game would be nice...but I dont know
You probably shouldn't over-think it, if tickets to a football game sounds like a good idea then you should go with it.
Not very helpful, I know.
a blow-up doll dressed as a witch
lol@houstonpeach....that really would overdo it!
yeah, that is so hard to figure out what my special one wants for his birthday. I would give him best sex ever if I just could do that.. π But geezz it's so hard to find a nice present for a Scorp.. π’((((
well how long have you been dating this guy?
hahaha.. emerald.. I would do that any other days as well.. lol.. But I just got an idea.. hmmm... I need to go for shopping tomorrow π
Why don't you go on with that agreement? Or does he have a gf now? Maybe he's still hoping that instead of that cake.. That won't be at least too dry.. hahaha
hmm.. sorry, just kidding.. lol
oh damn, and you're current one is not a Scorp then? Then maybe buy that cake this year if he wishes so.. π
lol that is too funny...we been dating for about 2 mos. It really is hard to decide what to get him. I want it to be a gift that keeps on giving!
sb now thats a good idea!
oh, sorry, messed with messages, coz too messy with 2 Scorps and sex and cakes and dry and wet.. hahaha π
sb you really had a good idea, I'll keep that in my mind for Xmas.
yea but you dont think that would be too expensive...I mean i want to keep i simple and sweet. We are only dating and nothing serious right now. You know you have to take things slow with a scorp guy.
well no you have a good point...im shopping for one online now? Thanks for the tip. I sure hope he likes it...
i was checking out the mp3 players too...they are a little under a 100 bucks. They are really nice
i think anything in the bedroom, including yourself.... π
just kidding...i have the same birthday so i can tell you this: something that is thoughtful and personal (like SIL said), related to something he is interested in or passionate about - it shows him how much you've been paying attention these past couple of months.
something too expensive would turn me off, to be honest...i'd rather appreciate the thought behind something. taking him out to really nice dinner would be great; and you can present your thoughtful gift then.
haha! JD... if i were a fly, i'd land on you... cuz you're the shit!
*runs away laughing*
...
*walks back* π the smilies kill me too.
i like those ideas scorp-in-law. my gift giving tends to include utilitarian things(what can i say, im a cap)... things i notice a person would find useful in their life, very handy, perhaps something i notice that they need. i myself would like that. and i put a big line between need and want. but when it comes to the s.o.... im going to want to lavish him with both a 'need' and a 'want' because its nice to be treated with a luxury. and if i've gone crazy, which often happens when it comes to spending on a loved one, i'll throw in something that falls under both categories if i can find it. i think the key to gift giving for anyone is getting something that you sought out with them, what they embody, and/or what they like in mind. ahh, it's so much fun.
π
π big hug a'comin'!
Yes,
the most important thing about the present is to be personilized, nothing generic (eg. a gift voucher, a tie, etc).
If he ever mentioned something that he loves, that is perfect, get something connected with it. The tickets for his favourite team that you can go together to, and maybe a dinner/lunch in his favourie restaurant. Music sounds great, who wouldn't be happy with an I-pod, just make sure he doesn't have the same one already. A subscription to the magazine (if he loves music, then maybe some magazine about the music?).
Doesn't matter how expensive it is, it must show that you put tought into it. The present that shows that you know him. That will surely put the smile on his face.
Find out what his passion is, and get him something to go with that. It's such a good feeling to see their eyes light up like little boys when they see the time and effort you put into getting it for them, and it also shows that you've been paying attention to WHO THEY ARE...and not giving them just another meaningless gift! They love this!
I`m getting my scorpbabe a pocketpu $ $ y and he can go f himself. π
it should say p.u.s.s.y
lol@taurus...
"my gift giving tends to include utilitarian things(what can i say, im a cap)... "
LOL...that reminds me, the first gift my ex-cap ever gave me was a fire extinguisher..i had just moved to a new apartment and he noticed i didn't have one.
at the time i didn't think it was romantic at all, but i look back on it now and think that was really sweet. π
yeah the xbox is a awesome idea....just be prepared to play with him
okay guys...i bought my scorp a leather jacket...with the gloves and hat to match. I cook him a lobster dinner and just pretty much pamper him...he told me be like the birthday card more than anything..isnt that interesting?
Simple things...always..
