You Scorpio natives will have a mixed year ahead. You should try to accomplish what you can before next summer. On August 1 the planet Jupiter will enter the sign of Leo, where it will put Scorpios in the middle of a powerful T-Square. You will, of course, have other positive aspects to support you, but the major planetary patterns show an "uphill" year ahead.

As your forecast year begins, you have the planet Pluto continuing its transit of Sagittarius. This influence indicates changes in your earnings, and the prospects for a second income -- which may ultimately replace your regular earnings. Remember to make financial changes (and commitments) with due deliberation. This is not the time to splurge on a major purchase. Wait until this time next year when your income will be under more favorable aspects.

The planets Uranus and Neptune both remain in the sign of Aquarius where they are both forming hard, square aspects to your natal Sun. Neptune will be affecting those of you Scorpios born October 26 to October 31. This square from Neptune is likely to affect your health, and you should be cautious in taking any and all medications. Make sure you have enough sleep so you can maintain your stamina.

Those of you Scorpios born between November 10 and November 19 will be most directly affected by the transit of Uranus. The square from Uranus can also affect your health, but more in the line of an acute illness or accidental injury. This energy could also impel you to make a change in your residence. It could mean literally moving to a new home, or it could mean changing your current residence. However, a square is a problematic aspect, so if these activities are in your plans, make sure you have contingencies -- with Uranus affecting you, anything that could go wrong probably will! Remember Uranus is a planet which works in sudden "spurts," so if you carefully plan -- and follow your plans -- you can eliminate much of difficulty.

Saturn continues its transit of Gemini, where it does not make a major aspect to your Scorpio Sun. In Gemini, however, it will affect your finances. You may find your "nest egg" is shrinking; choose your investment carefully and look for long-term gains rather than short-term profits. Be cautious in any type of joint financial ventures; rely on your intuition rather than on someone else's recommendations.

The planet Jupiter will bring mixed energy to you as it moves from the sign of Cancer into the sign of Leo. As your year begins it remains in the sign of Cancer, forming a beautiful trine aspect with your natal Sun. This is a protective aspect for you and your overall well-being. Under this influence you may also find yourself more intuitive than usual. Jupiter here also gives you a chance to enjoy yourself through travel, especially to places near to water and far from home.
