I don't trust compliments.
What if they are not compliments..as in sugary sweet and flattery but more along stating facts, some of which are advantageous? Not trusting those either even when I can back them up by data?
A wildly romantic imagination, drifting about in our own head yet grounded in rational logic when it is required of us.
A cool and elegantly composed lady in public but a devilish nymphomaniac who relishes in debauchery with their SO in private. 😆
Proper and prim in public to the nth degree, nothing less.

To answer your question @Damnata, why the facade?
It is partly due to amusement/entertainment, to be a saint in public but having a little naughty side to us too and partly due to a need for self-preservation, people drain us therefore we hold a facade so we could observe yet engage when we choose to, but it is mostly within our control.

I'm jealous of the taxes. I think I'd rather have her dreaming about other dudes than taxes. It would at least make more sense to me.
Taxes are fun to do though, I can't deny that. 😛

I don't know how she does it. She's the US tax director for a multinational utility services company. She had to know regs for all 50 states and sometimes individual counties...not to mention having to know Louisiana's Napoleonic Parish laws as well.
She's a lot smarter than I am.
