Scorps - Do you have a hard time being alone?

I don't mean necessarily in romantic relationships, just is it hard for you to be alone for any given amount of time? I'm noticing what might be a trend in my proximity and thought I would ask you guys for your thoughts.

My scorp cousin, for example. When he's in a relationship, he spends time with her daily. When he's not in a relationship, he has friends over all the time. Different friends in and out - cooking on the grill, beer time, watching sports, etc.

A scorpio coworker spends all her free time with her kids - they're always doing something.

A friend of mine goes out just about every night and never spends an evening home alone.

Now, I know my question is based on only three scorpios and this may not be a scorpio thing. I realize that. It may be just what they like to do. Not bad things, by no means. Actually, I wish I had their energy and social lives. 🙂

I was just wondering how the rest of you felt about alone time.

I'd rather stay in alone than go out usually. Unless I'm with a girl I really like.

I like my me time! But after a few hours I need to link up with my man or my friends . Def have no problems doing things by myself though

I Love Hibernating in my little Taj Mahal. Home is very important to me as well as time alone.

I'm comfortable on my own. I feel emotionally drained when I'm around people constantly.

Yes. I like going out, but I need time to recharge alone. When I go out, I go crazy, but I prefer to stay in usually.

I can be alone for days at a time. It's tranquility to me. However, when I get a bug up my ass..I'm out. Not a lot though. I've really been into fundraiser events, seems that's where you meet the nicest people to socialize with.

I love my space and alone time. its like i can do what I want and have that freedom. I do have those phases (Like im going through right now) that I feel alone and just want someone I can trust and natually depend on, have a good laugh with good company.

from my experience, its better to be alone than be with people you don't want to be with. They'd rather be with those they love. Deep connection. I understand this. Even noticed it with scorpio stelliums.

I don't understand what's so hard anyway. I think I am easy to live with. Sweet, and kind and loving 😄
(just don't ignore your fuckups and don't be scared to face your fears. It is an easy motto no? Lol)

Generally I enjoy being alone. I think because of my hobbies : reading books, playing piano, meditation and prayers ...

My Scorp loves to be alone.

However, he always says the worst year of his life was the year he lived alone in a new city, was away from his friends and family and was not in a relationship, he was so lonely.

Haha... At times, being my best friend is the only way to feel at peace.
Other times, all I need is to be around people and friends to feel at peace.
It's an on and off thing, really. 🙂

I don't like being physically alone. I can tolerate it, and I do so quite often, but I much prefer the ambient noise of someone else being nearby. If no one's around, I may turn on a TV in another room to try and trick my mind. But it can't be just anyone, either. It has to be someone who is part of the inner circle.

I am always thinking and I like to make things or come up with ideas (I play tabletop RPGs, build robots from Lego bricks, draw, etc) so I like having someone around to bounce ideas off of or to brag to. If for whatever reason I can't convince myself I'm not alone when I really am and it starts to bother me, I will usually get in my car and go somewhere randomly, like WalMart, and just wander around a bit. :/

I enjoy being LEFT alone, not being alone... I hate small talk, entertaining a lot of people, and dealing with the public at work (yay customer service!), those activities are draining.

I tend to spend a lot of time alone, sometimes by choice, sometimes not. Most of the time, I'd prefer to have someone in the general vincinity (like somewhere else in the house), just so I know SOMEONE is there. Might not even talk to them, but at least they're there. I prefer to not be alone, because unless I have a SO at the time, without all those energies being directed at someone else, they seem to bend back around and end up being directed at myself, and that's not a good thing. Not a good thing because without having that outlet, ie. SO (as I am single now), it usually leads to way to much self-destructive behavior. Too much drinking, too much masturbation, too much fantasizing about darker and darker things, ya know. 😉. So for me, I guess being alone is far preferable to being lonely.
