i find these two signs very very close to =============

That is pretty much Scorpio in a nutshell, and doesn't sound at all like someone Aqua would care to relate to, since Aqua is fond of people being self-accountible.

Virgo's are probably the only ones dumb enough to make excuses for it once it's figured out, so they would be the likely perfect match. Other signs would figure it out and attempt to tolerate for a short period of time ... but, all the other signs would finally walk away and just let the Scorpio sting itself .... whereas the Virgo would spend a longer time falling for it = very gullible.

In regards to a soulmate or lifemate, I, personally, would not bother with anyone in the masculine signs unless they were exceptional. If a grounded and intuitive Aquarius had N. Node in Scorpio, like me, it could actually make things very fun and interesting.

Hmmm.... My experienced with an aqua guy was very very good. He was my first love and we were in college and together for a long time (2yrs)... We had a great connection and I always thought it was weird that Scorpio/Aquarius don't get along. He was one of my best boyfriends.

I was with an Aquarius for 10 years, the relationship was a true roller coaster with high high highs and deep dark lows. Eventually I couldn't stand the ride, I had to get off. My moon is in Aquarius so maybe we were more compatible than the average Scorpio-Aquarius couple? The good times with him were unmatched by good times I shared with other partners who had the more Scorpion-compatible signs ... but then again, the bad times were frigging brutal.

Scorp & aqua are more similar than u think, but they come from different directions. Both signs are loners, probers etc, they actually mirror each other through antiscia. Read up on signs connected by antiscia.

Are they the worst sign for us, absolutely! Only a sign this fascinating and elusive could wreak damage on Scorpio. The fact that they are sooooo tantalizing on the surface and yet so disappointing over time is frustrating. I personally don't like to mate with air signs period, but after having 3 Aquarius men in my life, I know for a fact, I am never intermingling with them romantically again. They also don't pretend they aren't there. Emotion is private.


I haven't met an Aquarius who disliked people. Also, what would be superficial to an Aquarius? Air operates on the surface.

Anyway ScorpioLand, spot on. I've been very serious with exactly four men in my life: Virgo, Cancer, Aries, and Aquarius ... and only the Aquarius ever left me brokenhearted and damaged in every way it is possible to damage another person.

I don't think people in general should beware of Aquas.

This question pertained to Scorpios, though. Scorpios should definitely beware. The natures are too different to be harmonious and satisfying. The similarities, while they exist, are few -- and even the similar values are executed very differently and with different motivations.

I really hope you read my blog to see what I mean.

I participated in a Scorpio-Aqua forum for a year and half when I was entangled with an Aqua. It was heartbreak all over the forum. I was able to really see repeated patterns in this match up as relationship after relationship came crashing down. Of course, you could say the happy couples never joined the forum and only the complainers sought help online. Who knows!

I have never met a deep Aqua (of course I say this comparatively as a Scorpio). Intelligent, yes! The intelligence is superficial to me...they don't do detail and complexity. Their brains are made for broad-thinking rather than detailed, layered thinking. There is nothing wrong with that. It's not an insult. There are a variety of different reasoning style s.

People obviously have different opinions about this; I can respect yours. I can only say what I've witnessed with my brother and the 3 aqua relationships I've had.

I think Aquas would do marvelously with other air signs.

With Scorpio, to me, it's simply a different ethos ... a conflicting ethos.

Scorpioland...ok maybe +hate+ is a little extreme, but most scorps seem uncomfortable with emotions, their own & that of others. Why would u hide sumthing unless ur ashamed of it or dislike it. Scorps (1s i know) like to pretend that they dont feel sumthing for sumone, in the case of love. Im not an expert in scorps, just my observation & my own scorp energy. I have moon, mars, pluto & saturn, all conjoined in my 8th- i dont like emotions or emotional ppl, maybe thats aqua talking, d/k. Aquas arent superficial bcoz they dont care about looks or anything materialistic. An aqua would rather befriend/date sumone with similar views over a rich good looking sumbody. With aqua its quality over quantity. As an aqua woman i often choose empty with full head over empty head & full wallet. Aquas may seem shallow, but we arent, it takes a lot to open up & let ppl in in our depths- fear of being hurt, thats why we keep most relations on surface.

About aquas not liking ppl, i dont know to call it not liking or not caring. An aqua can talk to anybody without feeling anything or attaching. I can talk to a person for hours & when im done, i dont care if i never meet them again. Let me be real honest here- a person can tell me that their family member has passed away, i will say my condolences obviously, but deep inside i really couldnt care less, unless i knew them personally. Even then, the feeling will be short lived. Im not speaking on behalf of all aquas, but myself. Some might be different.

Very few ppl leave a mark or impact an aqua, bcoz most ppl leave before an aqua actually opens up & let them in. Like scorps, we are afraid of ppl getting too close, guards are always up- we drag the 'opening up' process. Sorry, my phone is cutting up the post.

Before I came to this board I had NEVER met a Scorpio who didn't love emotion. Years ago on Ning I had a Scorpio community with 150 Scorpios and we were always talking about how glorious our emotions were -- that we were connoisseurs of emotion. That is how I feel.

I have a stellium in Sagittarius, so I'm really philosophical about it. I believe in embracing and celebrating your nature.


ABOUT SUPERFICIAL -- I am NOT using this in the colloquial sense. I'm am NOT using it to mean materialistic, concerned about looks, etc. That in itself is a superficial reading of the term.

I mean, as I said before, superficial is the thinking style : Aquas are broad thinkers, big concept thinkers. They deal in macro not micro. They deal in top layers of a idea, not deep layers.

In the time it would take to probe something deeply (which Scorpios do because they have obsessive thinking style s and obsessive energy), the Aqua has moved on to something else. Aquas get bored mulling one thing too deeply or getting into specifics. It is not their nature. The detriments of this thinking style , of course, are that Aquas can jump to wrong conclusions, misquote facts, present misinformation, steal other people's information as their own, spout the easy explanations to something.

The benefits, however, are that Aquas can consider vast amounts of ideas and information, weaving them together to often create brilliant, off-the-wall, never-considered inventions.

They might, however, have to then hire a team to flesh it out because they will move on to something else and won't be able to distill the idea properly. In society I think the Aqua's thinking style is NECESSARY. They can think about much more and discover new ideas because by dealing in surface thought rather than depth.

Don't be offended, please. I like noting the different astrological approaches because to me they are inherently neutral and can be used for good or bad.

Not offended whatsoever, im an aqua, but it does not represent who i really am. Feel free to say whatever, im not that sensitive, lol. I agree with you about aquas fleeting style of thought. The reason for that is bcoz we figure out ppl & things easily, once that is done, its on to the next mistery. We dont do predictability very well, its boring & boredom is enemy no1. Aquas & other air signs are thinkers, not very good with the actual doing of stuff. Doing things= paying attention to details & that leads to boredom, no thanx lol. But when we do decide to do sumthing (if its interesting), its done with upmost perfection. Your decipher of an aqua is pretty good btw except the theft of ideas part, its a pride thing on my part, will never do that. I prefer things done my way, by myself & i hate interference (by giving pointers or whatever) from other ppl. The antiscia thing is an astrological thing, if astrology says it is so, then who are we to say it isnt so- we are in an astrology site after all, which means we believe it to sum degree. My brother (Aqua) and his partner (Scorp) have been together for over 18yrs with 3 children, they seem so mismatched to me, they have had huge rows and separated 2 times for a week at a time, but they have managed to keep it together.
