Pisces live in another world. They generally hate to argue or upset anyone, so they'll just go along if only superficially. They're not honest in the way we would think of honesty, that's for sure.

They tend to rationalize their own behavior through this same delusional mechanism.

No, they do this with everybody. Even those closest to them.

I had a female friend who was also Pisces, however she had absolutely NO earth in her chart at all to ground her. The "ungrounded" Pisces cannot stand to live in reality. It's too painful, and their way to deal with it is to escape into their dreamworld or drugs and alcohol. This dreamworld becomes as real to them as reality is to you and I. You know they're lying...yet, they have come to believe in the world they've created, so to them, they are not lying. Also, to avoid confrontation, this type of Pisces will agree and "pretend" to go along with the person they are with at that moment. They might not agree with anything the person is saying, but they are not going to start trouble, because it hurts them tremendously when someone is mad at them.

I am also a Pisces. I'm responsible, reliable and I don't lie. I also hate these traits in other people. But, I also have other strong aspects in my chart that balance things out. Do I escape reality? Yes, sometimes, but I don't pretend it's not there and I don't put off dealing with problems because they will only get larger. I have always taken care of myself, and, in fact, have several times in my life been the "breadwinner" in a relationship (didn't last long though, cause I also hate laziness). I do have the trademark dreamworld, but I do not confuse it with reality, and in fact, I'm quite protective of it. It's mine, and I doubt I will ever share it with another person, no matter how close I am to them. They wouldn't understand, and/or use it against me in some way.

If both the Scorp and Pisces are highly evolved, yes it can be. In fact, the strongest friendships of my life have been with Scorp and Capricorn woman. We just get each other, and without them I wouldn't have made it through some very difficult times in my life. Let's face it, good friendships are just as difficult to find as good relationships. But, generalizing by sign, and basing future relationships on an experience with one person of a certain sign, is limiting yourself. You may be cutting yourself off from a wonderful experience just because you believe every single person of a certain sign behaves the same way. We're all tempted to do this when we get burned....but it's not fair. Most of all, to ourselves.

Because to admit that they are lying will shatter their dreamworld and most likely, even their own identity, or rather, the one they have created for themselves. These types drive me crazy, too, but..I understand it, because it's part of who I am, too, I just don't let it have control.
