In my experience, if it was really love, it would never go away. The love might change and evolve into a different form but it will always be there.
If they get over you in one day, they never truly loved.

We don't always go back though. I learned that the hard way. Once with a Gemini Venus, and then with a cap Venus who was actually psychotic. Ugh. Never again.

As a Venus conjunct Pluto (Which effectively gave me traits close to a ViS) and with Venus in the 12th house, this is so damn true ?
Ever had that feeling where you would do everything for the person you love, even going as far as to risk everything you have to make them feel special?
That's ViS in action. Also possessiveness and obsession. We all have our fair shares in it. I'm obsessive to a fault.
EDIT: And all break ups, rejections and being left alone by someone who you're close to also hurts a lot and this pain will linger on for years to come. I still remember my first crush and most vivid details of it despite this being 4 years ago.

It hurts less for yourself to end it than for others to end most of the time because rejection is such a big thing in ViS, rejecting others is much better than feeling rejected.
It's like choosing to not take a drug and die compared to someone not giving you a drug you need to live. You have a choice on the former, and there are no choices on the latter. That's why it hurts less to end things yourself. It also means you have the power when you decide to end things, since power play is a bit apparent even in rejections too, and being rejected by someone means that they have that power over you.

what was the Gem Venus like? I've been with one also....placement is hated on here...I loved it. Brilliant woman, could understand anything, adapt to anything....loved how interested and fascinated she was with everything....really intellectual...also very charming and great communicator....I didn't see her as unfaithful, just with a restless mind that needed to be stimulated....They need growth, change, and learning like someone might need affection...

His view on love was different than mine, and he didn't deserve my loyalty or devotion. Disloyal, too many games, too light hearted,didnt wanna grow up. He's a great dad though if he can ever act grown and stay away from under his trifling momma ?

Ah that's such a shame! All the VIG men I've known are super loyal, kind, fun and they have a lot of fire & air in their charts too but still have great qualities.
Trust and loyalty means everything to me, I've yet to meet a Gemini or Venus/Mars Gem that wasn't faithful.

That's me in a nutshell, you have an accurate understanding of VIG especially the last sentence although I prefer the term constantly evolving....then again I do have many cerebral placements ?

i think gemini venus sounds good with your virgo venus it sounds, cause you also have sagittarius and aries, have a 3rd house sun, 3rd house dominant and aries moon?
I have venus in scorpio, and it's incredibly hard for me to get over people. If I fall, I fall really hard, but I think scorpio in venus don't wanna be weak, so what happens often is that we pretend we're fine and we've moved on but actually we're crying every night eating ice cream or getting drunk while desperately hoping our love interest will figure it out by themselves lol

I do move on but I never get over the ones I love. no point trying either I still love everyone I've loved.
I think it's because ViS is an obsessive placement, we remember everything about the person we love and why we loved them all the time, so compassion (as well as tolerance) is always there, never out of the equation.

I have the same placements and it is 100% like you say .. that yes, it depends on the person .. but the person who really made me happy, I could never forget .. even that person is a woman with sun and venus in scorpio.
