what does it mean when a scorp man says...

..."I want to put you in a box forever." It sounds very scary and possessive, even being a scorp myself.

I wouldn't analize that too much. It's just a way of saying he's being possessive as creepy as that sounds.
Sometimes we just don't have a way with words. When Scorps try to smooth talk we tend to come across more like Dracula then Don Juan. 😛

it means that he clearly cares for you and that he wants you all to himself without you running away like a normal person.

It means you are too ugly, smelly, horrid in whatever way ..... that he wants to put you in a box, and likely stored hidden, like the top shelf of a dark closet, ... to hide you away from him and the public.
