Speaking of Medusa, I actually have a little mirror that sits on top of my monitor that has saved me. I block her face with it, so I don't have to look at her eyes when she walks by 10 x's a day. I've thought of turning the mirror around, so when she looks at my face, she sees her own reflection. I thought that might be a nice little symbolic reference to the fact that all we mainly do is mirror each other's behavior. Then I thought....maybe I'm just crazy and I should stop thinking about crazy things.

I do not condone infidelity, but I do know how if feels to be conflicted...to feel a strong connection with someone else, especially if the connection is cosmic, non-sexual...it's not as readily dismissive as a temporary hedonistic connection.
But the determined persistence to make the current relationship work seems to take precedence every time.
