If you're a Taurus, after a first date and you're interested in the person how do you act? Like do you text back or not, if so how long do you wait? Do you stop answering calls and texts, do you answer right away etc. how often are you wanting to communicate, or do you ignore the person. Thoughts?
Advice on Taurus men
Posted by xoscorpioI think the best answer is what is the message u r planning to say , either way it better be something good.

Well my Taurus man and I met for the first time a few days ago. We were communicating very well before and he seemed very interested. After meeting and hanging out he expressed that he'd want to hangout again but then I stopped hearing from him unless I initiate conversations via texts/calls. Not sure how to take it. I'm open to asking but I don't know if it's too soon or to give him space or what?
Just wondering what he's thinking or what the motive is. š¢

Posted by SodapopHe was very sweet, such a gentleman. He did ask questions that we had already discussed prior though and was very quiet. I did most of the talking and he wasn't making much eye contact with me. I couldn't tell if he was observing, or if I was talking too much or what. We had a bit of silence and he seemed like he was trying to figure out what I was thinking so much he asked several times. Then he just kept saying he hopes we can meet up when he gets back in town from a business trip. He insisted on me texting him once I got home but he ended of texting me first since he was closer to the place than I was. I made an appoint to mention that I had a good time with him and he said the feeling was mutual so I'm not sure what happened.
I think Taurus men are chasers, usually theyād be proactive and try to get you at any cost if they like you. Him pursuing you then stopping after meeting doesnāt sound typical or promising, Iām sorry! But now you know and youāre a step ahead, stop texting him I would say and see if heāll try to initiate, but it could be just his ego that needs to be stroked, Taurus men can be insecure.
How was he on the date?
Posted by SodapopYes! As scorpios we usually back off to wait but I just didn't want him to really think I wasn't interested. I'll definitely wait for him to initiate though. Thanks so much for the advice!Posted by xoscorpioHe was definitely interrogating you and assessing you, I really think Tauruses do that, they need to run their own mental background check on you and see if youāre a safe bet or not. It doesnāt mean heās done deciding or done with you yet, my bull told me he needs to think things over and over and then heāll let himself feel.Posted by SodapopHe was very sweet, such a gentleman. Itās weird for a Scorpio, we do the exact opposite. I definitely think you should back off and see what happens. Men want to feel like youāre unattainable and they managed to āwin and claimā you as their prize, especially Tauruses who love to own beautiful things, you included.

Posted by CrimsonGirlHis Venus is in Cancer
I kind of think it depends on his Venus. Mine chased me, but his Venus is in aries so that is more typical. A Venus in Gemini or something might get a little more wishy washy and pull back a little bit and be more prone to playing games. Where is his Venus? Do you know?

He knows where you are. If heās interested he will ask you out. If heās not asking you out then heās not interested. You could ask him out but Iām not a fan of doing this. It sets the precedent that youāll pursue and heāll reciprocate. If you ask him out youāll not be able to tell if heās genuinely interested in you and is ready to date further with a view to being in a relationship or if heās luke warm and going just because he has nothing better to do. Granted, he could be shy and scared and all that but is a Scorpio going to get on with a shy and scared man? I think not.
My Taurus has Venus in Aries. I think that made him pursue more proactively. I was never in any doubt of his intentions. Later he confessed he was very nervous about if Iād accept his invitation for subsequent dates... yet he still asked me because he was interested in me, wanted me, and didnāt want anyone else to have me.
For OP, Iād lay off the texting and initiating. Donāt force something. You might have thought all was well but he may have had second thoughts. It happens. Itās nothing personal. Plus he might be away on his trip. Date others. Have options.

Being a Taurus if im interested in someone i go with the flow right away, i dont play games and become obvious im into them...
Update: Taurus man texted me. We've been communicating back and fourth, surprisingly he's been trying to keep the conversation going all day but I don't know if I should just stop responding and move on with my life or see what it is he wants. I'm definitely not with the whole disappearing scene especially at our age. Kind of annoyed with him now and not sure if I'm even interested anymore. The last time we talked was last Wednesday. Is disappearing normal for fellow Taurus'?

Posted by xoscorpioIt's not so much they disappear more that life gets in the way. There are times where I don't hear my partner for a day and it's just because he is busy. If I were to get in contact he would reply/call me back, but I normally just let him get on with it and check in with him the following day.

Same goes with seeing each other. Perhaps a week will go by but some weeks are faster than others and I am busy too.
If he is ignoring you though, then that is something else. Have you told him how you feel?

A day in the life of OP:
Chase Taurus man constantly.
Complain when he doesnāt text you.
Complain when he does text you.
Complain when he tries to hold a long conversation.
Complain because you donāt know if you should keep responding or not.
Become annoyed with him.
Be unsure of youāre interest in him.
Question all on forum regarding the perceived ādisappearenceā of Taurus man after one date.
Lose perspective that it was only one date.
Ignore previous adviceamd suggestions of same people on forum.
Donāt keep self busy with life and donāt date others as holding out for this one man.

Is the disappearing act normal or what?

You crave attention and he doesnt , you call it disappearing act, he take it as he is living his own life as you are of no importance to him in his life. You know he is the prize which is why you are here trying to figure out how you can manipulate him/situation to your favour but sadly you cant because he is taurus and he is stubborn. He takes long to trust someone thus he is not communicating to you much.
Oh I understand completely I just choose not to acknowledge what was said because that was not what I was asking LOL. My question ONCE again is, IS DISAPPEARING NORMAL FOR A TAURAS MAN, thasss it. Yes or no. Straight to the point. IS NOT CONTACTING YOU FOR DAYS AT A TIME SOMETHING THAT TAURUS' HAPPEN TO DO ALOT reguarless of everything else. At this point that's just something I want to know, the guy and I have talked but I just want to know one thing, do they do that a lot no matter what the reason is behind it. Sheesh.š¤¦š½āāļø

Yes we disappear often we're magicians on our off time. Which means we've mastered the art of disappearance like no other sign and do it often to keep our skills sharp.
Posted by AznnationOr I can ask on my post on this forum to get an actual persons view on it. Which is probably why I am here and not on google. šPosted by xoscorpioYour answer can be found googling "taurus man disappearing act"Posted by Aznnation

Yes...
and no.
There you go. Thatās your answer. Good luck.
AgentP911 might sound a little harsh but there is truth to it.
I'm not a taurus, but I'm married to one...
Before we were officially together.... he can go days without contacting me....Once we got a little closer and spend more time together, he will
pay more attention and always let me know when he will be busy and that he might not be around much.
I don't fully know how is your relationship is with him... but if it's just a day or two... that`s really not disapearing...and if that really bother you (which seem to be the case)...why not ask him?
I can't speak for all taurus man... but the one I know (My husband) was and is very steady...if they care for you and know something is bothering you, they will always go out of their way to make you happy.
Soooo. a quick answer to you questions would be: (from my experiences)
1- No they don't disapear
2- Yes depending on how busy their life is... it`s pretty normal not to hear from them for days.
