Might be the fix sign in you.I notice this with alot fix signs when they think they got it then it straight for them. I notice also taurus can be alittle judggee lol. They believe they no whats best. I few taurus friends like that when they was good they felt perfect and content. They also thought they had great advise on people problems but they hard on following there own advice..don't no alot about virgo asc. Maybe you should look at your moon sign.
I am a little judgeee so right haha but I'm working on it ... And I do believe what's best to the point I don't ask anyone for advice ever lol all my friends come to me and I keeps my business to myself lol and OMG it was hard to follow my own advice k just got that together this year ! I doubt it's the Virgo ascendant. If anything the Virgo aspect, as set on perfection as it is, would easily bring all insecurities out. And find a lot of them, even as small and insignificant as they may be.

I've been described this way from time to time by close friends/family members. 😛 I think sometimes Taurus can be a little delusional about how great we are. It's not completely unjustified, I'm sure. But there's a little difficulty balancing healthy self-confidence/pride and cockiness.
You feel good about yourself,I am happy for you, many people dont have that. But there is no such thing as being perfect. Dont tell me you dont have flaws and little insecurities at all. In germany we say Selfpraise
