Are we Irrational?

I know we're supposed to be stubborn, but I find irrational is more the word for it. Any other taureans frustrated with everyone & everything else?!!! You know we're the right ones! hehe

A very good friend of mine is Taurus (ex-girlfriend, now reg. friend) and I do find her irrational sometimes, but only seems to be when she's angry. Most of the time, she's pretty level headed. But, boy, let those horns come out . . .

My sister and I are BOTH tauruses (she's April and I'm May) and we disagree about almost everything (although we're great friends and disagree in a lighthearted way). Sometimes I feel she's somewhat irrational, although I'm sure she feels the same way about me! She's also a lot more stubborn (in my opinion).

At the same time tauruses are very realistic and no matter what they stand for they have very strong evidence (whether it be accurate or not) to believe what they believe. I guess that makes them rational in their own minds... sometimes annoyingly so. I've learned to admit when I'm wrong and it really is such a relief because I know the taurus mindset is to tenaciously cling to an idea even when we begin to look stupid... and I've been there! I also had to learn my boundaries and realize that I don't know it all!

One of my favorite mantras for us tauruses is Socrates' "All I know is I know nothing."

We got it down, baby! Enuf analyzing, we figure it out! Ok, hehe that's me being irrational. I just got hurt by a cancer so getting a little drink on red today. I will log-out now.

I do find myself stubborn and I have a strong faith in myself. I rarely get swayed by other's opinions. It's exactly like what taurusgirl pointed out: "tauruses are very realistic and no matter what they stand for they have very strong evidence (whether it be accurate or not) to believe what they believe. I guess that makes them rational in their own minds...". But when someone can prove me wrong by giving me a logical and concrete reasoning, I am able to listen and agree to him. My best friend, a Pisces, actually said that I am very logical and rational. But yeah, when I get frustrated (which is quite uncommon though), I lose my rationale and turn into a very stubborn bull. I rarely get frustrated at everyone and everything. In fact, I am always able to tolerate almost everything. But I do have this Taurus friend who complains about almost everything and everyone, but more so in a light-hearted way.
