Can I trust him again

My Taurus and me (Pisces) broke up recently.

Quick background on him : He was with a woman for 5 years, engaged and he caught her in bed with another man, he as been very guarded ever since. He is also very wealthy/good looking/no kids/41 years old, so as you can imagine he is hot property and is constantly having women hit on him. His ex had a daughter which he got very close to so he missed her as much as her mum.

Now us : Turns out he was chatting up another girl (I suspect more than one). Cut a long story short, I walked away and got on with my life. He was very cold when we broke up so I figured "move on". I started dating, nothing big just a few dinners over the week. My Taurus has always been used to me being very faithful and pining if there were problems (we have been together for a year and a half ? always on his terms) so naturally he was shocked. He is now begging me to return and saying he had no idea how much he loved me, that it is the pain he is feeling now that has made him realize. He said the last time he felt this way was when he caught his ex and he had vowed never to feel that way again which is why in the past he has never really ?let me in?. We had dinner last night with a friend of his who two weeks ago had said "boys night" so I could not come. He usually tries not to get to close to my daughter yet last night he gave her a hug and kiss hello, even, making, cutting up and feeding her, her dinner.

Do you think this is sincere and he got a shock of a wake up call or a passing thing?

I think using your daughter to get closer to you is disgusting and i'm not really impressed if you're tolerating this. Children are not toys.

I didn't read Nessy's post that way at all, crabby. She has a daughter, what is she supposed to do, lock her in a room when the guy is over?

As for his sincerity, only you can be the judge of that, Nessy. I tend to take people at their word. When or if proven wrong, that's when I stop trusting, not before.

I tend to pick up on things. I know it's not hip.
