No more than 5 years old either way. They must have their shit together.

And how much of a difference could be a deal breaker.
Everyone has different needs though.

For me, depends on the person. I've always guys dated older than me, but recently for the first time started dating someone the same age.

I've never been interested in guys younger than me, and only older when I was younger (in my teens and 20's). Mostly it was always within a year or two either way.

Recently I became seriously interested in a man 10 years younger (34), and came close to ending my current relationship (no cheating involved). That didn't happen but during the entire time I communicated with this man I never felt the age difference. I doubt that will ever happen again; it was a very unique attraction, possibly a twin flame situation.
