I've found that time, physical distance, and distraction are key...I never got closure either. In fact, the amount of drama that is still going on, and keeps popping back up from time to time, is utterly ridiculous. No one would even believe it. The most tame of all the recent circumstances is that she now lives down the street from me, having moved in with another Taurus who goes to my gym, and my Sag has *frequent* extremely negative interaction with her. I am literally hiding most days. I'm glad its easy for me to go into homebody mode...lol. Haha!You or TLS don't do it...it's just your extreme opinions about the same thing ..They make me see a middle ground.. 😄

I think that's why I like the Taurus board. It's very much open and accepting. You can have an opinion and a voice (or a keyboard) and it doesn't matter if you're at either end of the spectrum or if you fall somewhere in between as you'll always learn or see something in a different light. It's so educational they should make a university/college degree in 'Taurus Board'!

If you have a clashing view point you're not jumped on because of it. If you say something that 'others think but don't dare to say' then it might get a bit 'heated' in here but then it's forgotten about and life continues. It doesn't appear to be held against you. Frankly, there's more important things in life than this forum and I think most Taureans and some other members on here have stuff going on and they just don't take it all so personally or seriously. Which is how it should be really.

The Scorp board tends to be full of overly hormonal and emotionally driven members. They are unable to accept things as they are. Sometimes it gets a bit too much. I love a bit of drama and a piss take but rarely take it so seriously.

I just like the variety of subjects and members here. It interests me Š

I do get emotionally invested. I don't have any skill or knack for not getting emotionally invested. I often have rose tinted glasses on and have barked up the wrong tree many times.

I think what doesn't help is when there's other things in life that may not be going well. For example, I met the yank only six weeks after a major break up which affecting my personal life and work life. Chance meeting for one night which should have been left as just that but in a way I was looking to 'replace' that feeling I was missing. I took a chance which to be fair is very me but I put far too much hope on what could be rather than what it actually was. At the time, he was a distraction from the ex and also from work. He was someone and something else to focus on. Of course I didn't expect my trip to go quite as it did and he had stuff going on too wh..

Right!! That's true...i think we'll be more vulnerable when something else about our life isn't going well..I think we'll try to fill up a gaping void..I went through a similar thing too..! N that's how I thought then..That he served his purpose n slapped myself into reality.. My head always rules over my heart...n i look at the bigger picture most of the times...I can totally relate to what you have gone through..But I'm still not completely evolved.I never learned how not to give more importance to things,people or situations..
I agree.. I think Taureans are more selfish with lesser emotional investment n are more realistic for that matter..

I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. There's no medal here for being evolved. It's not like some higher status to be achieved in life. It's not like people walk around thinking to themselves 'I am evolved therefore I am great!' so just be you rather than associating things or experiences with right or wrong, better or worse, good or bad. It just is.

What you can do is just be more aware of shit and try not to repeat the same shit and never learn as that would just be bloody stupid!

To be honest I've never cared much about the Scorpio board.. I've hardly ever opened it..i never cared to reply on any of the threads there either..I only open it when I'm super bored n when i do,i find it too funny (yes,i find arguments funny..silly for that matter :p) N I never appreciated how accepting the Taureans here are coz i hardly looked up any other stuff in here..Now I see what you mean..I hate to say this (after what i have gone through with the Taurus guy), but I find Taureans to be warm n welcoming 😄
