Soooo.....Taurus men are emotional—

So my male platonic friend (8yr friendship) asks me to go to a gay club with him Saturday night. I say ok, but I'll meet him there since I already have a drink date thing planned a little earlier. This conversation is at 8:30.

11pm he sends me a text saying he's at his friends and he'll wait to hear from me before going to the club. 10 minutes later I get a "hello" text and an immediate phone call...during my date. I assure him I'm still coming.

11:50, I get a text saying he's there. 10 minutes later, "are you coming?" Text. I reply and say "yes, give me 30". His reply is "ok, I'm not leaving". Not even 15 minutes later I get a text saying he's left. I send a sad face and say we'll party some other time. He then goes into this emotional "I won't ask anymore - take my number out your phone" thing.

WTF—? My female friends aren't even this emotional. It's Honestly tiring as shit to go through this. I want to keep the friendship, but is there a way to get these emotional outburst towards me to stop?

I'm an Aquarius Sun and Pisces moon. I'm not quite sure of his moon sign though. I'm guessing it's emotional—

He felt like you were blowing him off. I've had that happen to me. It's annoying. At 8:30 you said you would meet him later because you had a "drink date" when I think of a drink date, I think 1-2 hours. Not 4 hours. You didn't plan on being there until 12:30. In the future I would be more specific. I know it's completely anal & probably equally annoying to different personality types but I like stability, I like to have a plan & I don't like tardiness. I don't like fluid plans. I appreciate when someone tells me what time they will meet me & they actually show up at that time.

Fair enough. I am very much go with the flow and don't really plan too much out. We never discussed time and just agreed to meet later. My date wasn't until 9:30, so I thought I had some time. Now I know if we ever make plans again to set a concrete time for everything.

I would NEVER have an Aquarius friend, period.

Aquarius can be inconsistent and obnoxious and can never keep a secret solid..

Taurus don't like obnoxious, loud, or tardy people.

Taurus are consistent, punctual, and quiet sit back and observe you.. lol see right there you see the difference in the two signs.. compare and contrast..

Exactly! I only agree to Business gatherings, Dates, or Meetings at a specific time as I'm not into that wishy washy shit like "oh yeah three hours this afternoon" or "when I'm done with my other thing" Bitch, please!

Every date I've ever been on I was always either 10 minutes early, or right on the dot. Without exception. The only time I was ever "late" in my life was when I was in School, however to be fair I wasn't late I just didn't bother to show up. LOL!

Oh so cold AB - I don't like that never showing up, at least just be honest. Haha

I'm always on time or way early. Lol

You know 8 years of platonic friends is a long damn waste of time.. you set yourself up for failure. Of course your the no settling type, open relationship only status.. When there are other people on your level...you can feel special that you can share everything with your own lover. Can't share with a NSA friendship or fwb anything realistic..

Holding on just to hold on isn't cool. You miss alot of long-term possibilities..

You guys really don't care for Aquarius folks. Lol. I just got into astrology within the last couple of years, and I definitely did not know any of this about Taurus. But makes sense now looking back on different things. Well....at least now I know.

Why was it a long waste of time? A lot of his friends left when he came out and I'm the only one who never judged him for it....or changed how we interacted because of it. I'm glad I could be there for him while he went through that. I don't see it as a waste at all.

I'm not dissing anything about anyone. To each their own experience. Sorry.

I know I meet Aquarius every day. And they are good friends of mine. Ok I don't think it's a waste of time. Just thought if it's a waste of time. You might miss out on something meaningful. Thats all..

As matter of my brother and I get along well..and I am always here for him..support him and wish he is safe.

As for your friend. I would be there indefinite. They are better friends than others. And you can talk about anything and everything. It's a comfortable zone..to talk freely and be yourself in the eyes of each other.

I mean I hope you would stick to him since he does like you as good supportive friend that he needs.

I had a long-term fling with one or two Taurus men, the connection was amazing.

That's good. It's a good connection..Taurus and Aquarius are fixed element will stay in support and be there, and even have some fun. There still inconsistent traits I don't see eye to eye. It usually pops off right away with Aquarius. Magnetic aura.

Mind you, I think Taurus is more fixed than an Aquarius. Anyway, that's how I perceive it.

Well I am Taurus stellium, so yeah I am. Don't know about others until I'm right in your face peeping you out though. It just depends on the situation atm. I do compromise, adapt, and less stubborn but I have to see the other side too.

I definitely will stick by him! I don't abandon people over disagreements or miscommunication. But with him being a Taurus, not sure how that will play out....

Just give it some time.
Just cook him some food and say sorry..and be friends again.
