Hmm maybe you could write down all the times you felt hurt because of him and that might get you to feel more distanced. Even though this might bring up all the old issues and you would want to bring them up again (not a good choice).

Another thing is to just get busy and do you. Do fun things, visit old friends, go workout, watch movies aka do everything that will get your mind off of him 🙂 Just when you least expect it he will contact you.

Comrade, thanks again for your advice but I think the key is to concentrate on me. He may have other ladies and really, so what, he is not my man. We are just exploring a connection and I need to dial crazy down, not up. LOL I'm going to live my own life and not be too worried about what's going on in his world.

Now this is confusing. With my Taurus friend, I dropped the WHOLE thing..then he miraculously text me on Wednesday and called me at 6:35 in the morning when I KNOW that he is usually asleep (he is a night owl and I am a morning person). This is all after my not calling, texting or showing up where he is for 2 weeks. These exchanges should not be so DAMN hard, what gives? I do not play or understand games or unsurity.

Close friends or "Close Friends"—?? Again, confusing! He did say in his morning conversation that he was going to start going to bed earlier...like 8 or 9 (That is my bed time, LOL) This is why I broke off all contact, I am too confused by him. We are in the beginning stages of friendship, so I thought..not much ventured, not much gained and nothing really to lose.

My event was really by chance. I am not trying to be a love interest (right now). He is an interesting person and I am waiting to see what kind of person he really is...just like he is evaluating me, I am evaluating him. I am new to the state and do not have a lot of background knowledge about him, his friends, etc. No affection, kissing or gifts. But I am glad my sharing could be of help to your situation.
