I guess it has caveats and depends. If its a thing, I generally want to keep it and if its lost or stolen or broken it can feel pretty bad about it for a period of time. If its a person, people choose who they want to be with or deal with or what they want to do. So that may be where you see the mellowness. I may ask somebody whats up and what do they want to do and after that, Life goes on regardless.Maybe your picking up on the vibes things are definitely mellow in Taurus land these days. But busy in a low key way. I just want to stay out of things out there yet on track and Keep it mellow.

They are possessive in their own way. Might come up and out his arm around you and pull you in if he thinks someone is flirting with you. Or may tell you they don't like how friendly your guy friends are. But blatantly possessive I've only experienced with Taurus Moon. But other taurus may have different levels of possessiveness.

I dated one long ago, he was pretty possessive. I suppose. But we were really young. One had liked me recently, but he was very passive in trying to date me. Which made it harder to see him as anything more as a friend :/
So more like subtle possessiveness, I would say.
But then again, the recent one told me he really wanted to protect me because of my harmless nature or "innocent aura" ? So idk if that's BC I'm a Virgo. But I don't think it is, BC tauruses could just be like that around any lover.

See but that's the thing, going back to the whole "mellow" thing, I can only see the subtle/mellow type. I've met a few Taurus men, and they all have a calm aura no matter what they're doing.

Yeah, i blamed my Libra's sun. But after reading yupvirgoo and Reincarnation posts I am now wondering if it was his Taurus moon instead.
I would go so far as to say I'm far more sensitive about loyalty than him..... and extremely possessive. But not in a creepy way. As a woman, I'm self assured and secure in a relationship. Having said that, it took me a failed relationship to get here.

Mine has subtle (and not so subtle) possessiveness. Not over what I do or wear, but over things. My house is "our" house, my things are his things. He bought me a car once and he still considers it his car. I'm also his. I'm assuming he is secure in that. He doesn't seem jealous. Me on the other hand? Constant simmering jealousy. Lol!

There's no Scorp LMFAOOO none. Not at the moment anyway. I'm trying to compare the fixed signs possessive natures kinda. Because I like fixed energy, it roots me to the ground BC I tend to float away sometimes

well - one thing for me is that if we are together then yes you are with me but I don't own you so you can do what you want and I will watch you always - even though I might like you to be with me. To me "possess' means to "own" which sort of sounds like "I am the boss of you and you must do as I say" ... I would never want that ...
I don't have to "possess" you like that ... however, should you slip up and veer off our path - I won't get jealous, I will just walk away and not look back ...
and then maybe I'm just talking out the crack in my arse .... I am a bit foggy after such a nice relaxing holiday !

your Taurus sounds like my new Libra who tells me all the time that women just come on to him - one woman came on to him this morning at one of his yearly meetings - he thought that was so weird that she did that when there were 6 or 7 other men in the room and she's never done that before - we think she may have been drinking even though it was 9am - he's got several notes on his car after church every time he goes - no I don't worry because I know him and trust him

See but that's the thing, going back to the whole "mellow" thing, I can only see the subtle/mellow type. I've met a few Taurus men, and they all have a calm aura no matter what they're doing.
I usually meet two types: the calm laid back type and the cocky flamboyant type. I prefer the mellow ones. They may have a quiet exterior but if you mess with them or "theirs" they will flip that script quick and let them horns show. Sexy. 😉

I like it that he doesn't see it. I know when we got together, even after months of overt flirting, I had to spell it out in bold letters that I was interested and even then he didn't believe me. That he doesn't see these women chasing him, gives me confidence he is unlikely to pursue anything with them. When I tell him what they are up to ("here is my number, you should call me" or talking to me with a stupid look on their face about how nice he is when they don't realise we are together and how they are just there to see him) he doesn't believe me.

Or may tell you they don't like how friendly your guy friends are. But blatantly possessive I've only experienced with Taurus Moon. But other taurus may have different levels of possessiveness.
I dated one long ago, he was pretty possessive. I suppose. But we were really young. One had liked me recently, but he was very passive in trying to date me. Which made it harder to see him as anything more as a friend :/

I have to find out lol - it's been killing me ... he doesn't believe in "that stuff" he says so he continues to skirt the birthdate questions - geez I am trying to guess and well, I'm not that good at it - he seems to have traits that could be pisces, virgo, cancer, sag - or it could be a lot of scorpio like last years' libra but I'm just not sure and it's killing me ... for some reason I think he's got a cancer or pisces moon - he is very very sensitive - I've got to find out lol

I can be possessive but it depends on the situation. My possessiveness stems from what brings me security,comfort,happiness etc when I sense a threat to my security is when I become possessive of that thing or person depending on how severe the threat is how much my possessiveness will show it's self. So when my sense of security is in no threat I'm not possessive of that thing or person at all.

Who makes it clear that you are valued and essential in his life, and may God have mercy on the fool who tries to steal you away. That is what the attraction to possesive men comes from. I was my Leo's world but we aren't together anymore and he's moved on. Nothing bad to say about his new girl or the relationship/how it ended. It's just that learning up on love and having time to myself after the relationship, has shown me that at some point in the relationship I wasn't getting what I supposed to. But at the time, I didn't know that. I was in love.
But Yeah being someone's world would be cool I guess...
