Why is a broke man trying to fall in love in the first place? Feed yourself first, then your dick.
Falling in love is one thing... I think whether or not it lasts is something else entirely.
Also, defining being broke... broke as in, they work hard but don't make enough money above paying rent/mortgage and bills or they are not getting up off their ass to work?
Somebody who sits around like a blob all day is not sexy at all. It might be nifty to have them available all the time at first to have lots of sex to bond you together but after a while it'll just build resentment.

well my Taurus aunty married a wealthy man her first time, around, and the 2nd marriage is better even though he's not a millionaire/billionaire. hard working guy and loyal.

I think it all depends, are you able to still prove stability and security even though you are broke? Then yes, we can. However does you being broke mean that we will have to take care of you? Then no, a Taurus lady won't even blink an eyelash at you.

1. lower paying job but helps out in every other way he can rather than couch sitting - ok - cause I don't need a man to pay for things if one of us can afford it and if he fixes things around the house which actually "saves" money - in other words is proactive and helpful in maintaining a budget - coupons, help with finding what we need efficiently and less expensive, etc.
2. a bum who takes the back seat and doesn't try ? - no way!

I'm very traditional in love i guess... only briefly dated a couple of men who were financially secure. most others struggled for whatever reason with finances but bc of my feelings towards money and possessions, i never much cared what their money sitch was like as I always take care of myself. problem is... i usually end up doing most of the providing for both of us... which get exhausting as I'm not a rich woman but i work hard. i just don't ever want money to be what we argue about... as i get older tho, love and reality are a little different... unfortunately, love doesnt buy groceries or pay rent so I struggle with doing whats best for myself. at least if I am doing most of the financial providing, i think a fair trade would be someone who cares for the house and such if they are not working as much. i dont think the earner should necessarily be the man, however i do wonder what it would be like sometimes not to worry about it...
