What about this taurus?

Hey everyone 🙂

I was involved with a Taurus who initiated everything, we talked about everything from marriage to kids, even living together (this was just in the few weeks of dating him). Then one day we got in a huge fight about something small and he said that "we are not even official" I didn't reply to any of his texts/calls/ emails for 1 day and he ends up at my door. He said that we have to try and be friends. I agreed but I was shocked. Then we got in another fight a few weeks later and I told him that we weren't compatible and we need to take it super slow from here.

Now, I have another guy best friend that I hang with all the time. Taurus sees this and it seems like he doesn't care. I ignore the taurus when I see him in the hallways. But I feel bad for him, cause I am popular and have lots of friends around all the time and he is usually standing alone and doesn't talk to anyone much. Also the sex with him was amazing and I miss that.

My question is did he ever like me at all? When we were dating for a few weeks? Now we just ignore each other (well more of me ignoring him actually) cause he said he has alot of school work and can't invest in a relationship right now. Does he get jealous? (I can't even tell)
Will we ever be back together?
Is there a way to find out if he still likes me? (I know he cares about me alot because he is constantly in touch whether texts or emails)

Thanks for responding @kittyknitter. Whenever I get mad at him, he spends hours trying to make up.. texting, emailing, calling me.

What I dont get out of this is that if he cares about me so much, why doesn't he treat me "special" in public (like at work or school). Why is trying so hard to be good friends with me?!
I've noticed him starring at me multiple times.
