Frisco wants to make love to felicia but gets interrupted by Sam and her brother. Tony, Rick, and Yank bring Buzz in for immediate surgery to stop the infection. Duke shows up at Anna's with a bottle of champagne. Ginny arrives back home surprised to find Jimmy Lee and Lucy dancing in the living room. How will the surgery on Buzz turn out? Will Duke succeed in knocking Anna off her feet? What is Duke really up to?

June 10 1986

Sean gives Monica an expensive bracelet. Monica and Alan then do some marriage counseling. Wedding preparations and arguments ensue. Jimmy Lee is trying to get through to Buzz who admits his daughter is Sandy. Frisco and the cadets graduate.. Frisco has been assigned a beat with Burt Ramsey, who promised Robert Scorpio he would watch over him. Will a Felicia and Frisco argument put an end to the wedding plans? Will the Quartermaines get the best of Sean or will Sean keep getting one over on them as he spends the Quartermaine fortune?

Anna, distracted by the flowers from Duke, tells Burt that she's both confused and concerned about Duke Lavery., Sean on the waterfront examines his crates. Jimmy Lee thinks he's pulling a fast one on Sean. Bobbie visits Buzz who's doing much better. Lucy drops by with her concern, but Bobbie is not fooled by her act, and tells off lucy. After Duke comes to Angel’s defense, will Duke convince Anna to go out to dinner with him? Jimmy Lee has to say goodbye to an old relationship, but will thugs on the Waterfront make him say goodbye to his life?

June 12 1986

Tony and Jake prepare for Frisco's bachelor party. Felicia, Anna, Tanya and Sam pick out their dresses for the wedding. Sean is trying to cover up his shady business practices. Can Monica help a beaten Jimmy Lee? Will Patrick continue to get close to Lucy despite how all of his friends feel about her? Can Anna help figure out what is wrong with Buzz?

GH June 13 1986

Buzz keeps popping pain pills hidden under his bed. Anna shows Burt the dossier she compiled on Duke Lavery. Duke learns Anna is a former WSB agent and looks forward to getting to know her more. Burt and Frisco are out on their first beat together on the waterfront. Jimmy Lee tells Rick and Tony that he's located Buzz's daughter. Who will get the better of the other today, Anna or Duke? What will Sandy appearing in Port Charles bring?

GH June 16 1986

Duke tells Angel that he's interested in Ms Devane. Anna and Jimmy Lee discuss Buzz and his estranged daughter. Sandy tells them he thought her father was dead all these years. Tony and Brian inform Steve of the drug theft. Frisco and Felicia planning the wedding. Will Duke hire Felicia? Can Buzz and Sandy work out their differences?

I'm gonna watch when I come back from hiatus when dxp goes back to talking shit about each other's signs instead of real life.

After 54 years, I watched the stories of the left-handed boy and ice princesses again and was actually not sure whether I should continue watching GH. Back in Germany, GH ended shortly afterwards when Luke met a new woman (?) and Demi Moore was on the show. But now Luke, Laura, Scorpio and his blonde lover are struggling to find new jobs, which is actually very interesting to see.

And I don't know if it was the writing or the freedom the actors enjoyed back then but there are dialogues that looked improvised and scatchy for a soap, almost like a sitcom. For example, when Robert says to Luke "this is a low blow" and Luke answers something like "I'm not that type of a man" or when Luke asks Robert 's lover when she was on top the last time (in terms of her work life) and Robert replies "just recently" (apparently not referring to her job). There were some good actors on this show, like this actress who plays Laura's mom. Did you know that she is married to that guy who plays the police chief in real life?

Will Frank Smith and the Cassadines build a new super weapon and terrorize Gotham City? Will Scotty come back and beat Luke up for good? Anyway, I like Scorpio the most. He doesn't have a job but still lives in his penthouse and doesn't even have money. He just got a job offer but has to move to NY !!! Will he break up with Luke? Will Roke or Lubert, as we experts call them, separate forever? Damn it, Scorpio is such an likeable character, he reminds me of the twin brother I never had. 😢

After 54 years, I watched the stories of the left-handed boy and ice princesses again and was actually not sure whether I should continue watching GH. Back in Germany, GH ended shortly afterwards when Luke met a new woman (?) and Demi Moore was on the show. But now Luke, Laura, Scorpio and his blonde lover are struggling to find new jobs, which is actually very interesting to see.

And I don't know if it was the writing or the freedom the actors enjoyed back then but there are dialogues that looked improvised and scatchy for a soap, almost like a sitcom. For example, when Robert says to Luke "this is a low blow" and Luke answers something like "I'm not that type of a man" or when Luke asks Robert 's lover when she was on top the last time (in terms of her work life) and Robert replies "just recently" (apparently not referring to her job). There were some good actors on this show, like this actress who plays Laura's mom. Did you know that she is married to that guy who plays the police chief in real life?

Will Frank Smith and the Cassadines build a new super weapon and terrorize Gotham City? Will Scotty come back and beat Luke up for good? Anyway, I like Scorpio the most. He doesn't have a job but still lives in his penthouse and doesn't even have money. He just got a job offer but has to move to NY !!! Will he break up with Luke? Will Roke or Lubert, as we experts call them, separate forever? Damn it, Scorpio is such an likeable character, he reminds me of the twin brother I never had. 😢

I def do think Actors on soaps in the 80s had a lot more leeway to spitball some dialogue. Especially when it came to comedy. I dont think early 80s gh aged well tho but that could just be me

The only one that didn't age is Duke... because he's an alien.

He was played by 2 different actors...

the guy on top looks familiar, I am sure he is one of those actors who have been on 5 different soaps ^^
