I'm watching it. May not watch to the end of season. It has to many inconsistencies for my taste.

For example, why does an iPhone come on after 15 years with a dead batter?
Why do people who travel on foot from state to state never seem out of breath?
With does everyone look so clean and freshly shampooed?
The older wiser characters listening to the emotional ramblings of a young girl with no real life experience outside of her family village.
Why does a woman have the capacity to build a pc from scratch but can't build a secure door to keep people from kicking that door in?

It's a great concept, it's like The Walking Dead (minus zombies) meets Steam Punk.

I like the idea of electricity in an amulet.

I agree! And why are their clothes not tattered after 15 years? I like the concept. Hopefully the story line will keep us intrigued. But, I'm a little disappointed the details.

I think the amulets in a certain distant within each other has something to do with powering up batteries. Maybe they will explain.

I keep thinking, well, they had manufacturing in the 1800s wihtout electricity, why can't they do that now? Or are people so dumbed down they can't figure out how to get power from water, steam, etc.

Still thinking HBO could have done a much better job of including the grit and reality.
