I drove it last month and either the gear selector cable needs adjusting or he's missing first gear.

Wondering if I should tell him since he thinks its a two speed due to thr issues or get back at him for all his typical.overconfident aries douchebaggery and let him blow the tranny

He thinks its badass but its a rust bucket. The V8 only makes 215hp.

Because the Corvette isn't built for straight lines, its a track bred car using no other input other than trail and error and still smokes eurocrap that costs 2-4x as much.

As far as HP to displacement ratio its a trade off. American cars are known for making absurd torque down low in the RPM range and in order to do so efficiently you sacrafice top end power mainly due to.intake and valvetrain restrictions.
