“Theresa Malkiel was an influential Jewish activist and one of the leaders of the 1909 strike by garment makers”

Celebrating all those women who fought to make conditions and life fairer for us all!

Change didn’t come to those women until the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire in NYC in 1911. Only then did they see fit to improve working conditions.

Over 100 women died jumping from the windows because the exits were blocked.

March 8th is actually a communist based celebration. Which I refuse to partake in.
