Hell no! I ain't washing no period soaked panties 😷
Yeah, just no.

I think you can wash them normally though. With other clothes and not have any issues..

Not sure how that works, but that's what they advertise.

Yeah, not sure how I feel about mixing a day's worth of period soaked panties in the washer with my other clothes... that's assuming it could live up to its all-day absorbency claims (which I highly doubt). Even then, It probably won't be able to mask the odor from prolonged wear. It's a cool concept, but I'm going to have to pass.

A few companies make things like this. Dear Kate, for example, which I have.

They're best to use as extra protection for your clothes, IMO, not alone. Or, if you suspect you might get your period on a certain day but aren't sure, they're good to wear just in case. They can, surprisingly, absorb a lot.

Hand washing is best so the fabric lasts the longest, and it's not difficult to do it, IMO.

Speaking of periods, the Museum of Menstruation is an interesting site:

Ladies, I've posted this before...

Use a natural sea sponge. Details here.

YAAAaaaaaasssssssssss!!

Since using the sponge I have yet to ruin a pair of panties. Plus I'm convinced the cramps/pain is less. Much cheaper than stocking up on tampons/pads too.

Me too! Once you get used to insertion and removal, the actual wearing of them feels much more comfortable and natural than a tampon. Not to mention no mess sex, should the occasion arise. Also much more environmentally friendly. Win/win
