Yea, its been a running joke for decades: Marriage dries up, man begs woman for sex, woman denies. Its how boomer marriages are viewed: sexless and frustrating. These are the ones that remained married.
I read an article stating that currently divorce rate for boomers is the highest its ever been. People married for 40/50 years are suddenly realizing they can get divorced or maybe younger gens are influencing them to not stay in miserable marriages. Realizing death swiftly approaches and they don't want to die miserable cooking hamburger helper for their husband who sits on the recliner snoring at 7pm every night
Yeah. What is the alternative though?
Not like they can find anyone better at that age. Now is the time to enjoy things such as children, grandchildren, retirement and casinos.

NO he is NOT! Though we are very organic - I can’t make him to be affectionate. Though I kind of like it. Now. I stopped fighting it.
