Using the word C as a joke can be disrespectful and may indicate underlying issues. It is often seen as a red flag for potential disrespect or abuse. Recognizing such language early can help identify unhealthy relationship dynamics and promote healthier communication.
I've only used it in reference to a tile cut giving my problems at work. Saying you fucking cut right before I shatter it on the ground into dozens of pieces doesn't feel as good as using the profanity it sounds similar to.

I'm actually kind of curious of what you consider a thread that isn't pointless. I've never seen you post something thought provoking, let alone a thread that was meaningful to anyone ever.

I’m offended by the term if they are referencing me and yes I wouldn’t give any attention to anyone calling me a cunt. Have been called it before and it really irks me!
On the other hand if we are talking sexually that’s a different ball game.

For me it’s just another swear word, no worse than others. It’s so casually used here it can refer to a person in general. As in “This cunt over here......” with no malice involved. This is a broad generalisation of its use in Australia though. It really depends on the social setting and group.
I think there’s a difference in saying that cunt over there and you’re a cunt!!!
If someone called you a cunt to your face I don’t think it would go down quite as well.
I live in Australia and have citizenship but I’m a kiwi and to me it’s highly offensive to be called a cunt directly. I guess you could say it is in the way it’s delivered or in the statement itself.
Yeh I can't imagine myself calling a female a cunt as anything other than abusive. I'd call a mate one and it's fine but not a female. Seems different . That's how it is in England, I think

I heard a thrash metal guitarist give out to a guy on the late bus for using the word cunt as an insult. He said “how could something so beautiful be used in such an insulting way”

A red flag that we will not get along, so I'd end it there. Not interested in educating you on why it's a problem, or being educated on my lack of sense of humour or why I should lighten up.

This could be asked about any word that someone finds offensive. The only thing it is a true indication of is the fact that he does not know how to address someone properly when he has a problem.
A conference dinner with those long tables, bringing many people together. Good food and wine, networking, making friends. Suddenly, a moment of silence...young Undine just asked, a bit louder than it should have: “What does cunt mean?”
This was because someone was whispering into my ear things about his very successful female boss, and I honestly thought that he was admiring her and that “cunt” was an endearing word 🤣
Good job I didn’t carry on, asking loud “What do you think that makes the successful scientist X....a cunt?”
Anyway, the wine made it fun...They took it upon themselves to teach me some more British slang and expressions afterwards.
