***Note: there IS a difference between loungewear and sleepwear****
Have you guys tried any of these brands? thoughts?

Posted by dillweedtbh i buy loungewear from asos. i guess its considered fast fashion but i have some items that have lasted for a really long time 🤷🏻♀️
is it super soft? does it maintain it's softness through washes?
"fast fashion" - I just learned about this term. Where did you learn it from btw?

i have a few items from asos that have only gotten softer after washes. it’s an affordable brand & im a baller on a budget so, it works good for me. plus they have cute items & not ill fitting garbage.
idk where i heard “fast fashion” from... prob instagram or some news article. i dont shop at places like h&m or forever 21 though. that stuff falls apart after like 2 washes.
oh!! i also like uniqlo. they have really nice winter thermals that i buy every 5 years. they last & dont shrink.

very nice.... i'm browsing their website right now 😄
Posted by LuxePurrI wear sports bras and cycling shorts 24/7 since working from home. I don't wanna wash twice the amount of clothes and since I work out daily, might as well be in activewear.
On rest days though, I wear these. In fact, I'm wearing these exact pjs right meow. 😅
Shein and Asos have affordable and quality loungewear
For me I dont know why i hate being in active wear or PJs outside of working out/sleeping lol. ALso active wear doesn't feel that great on your skin - unless I'm missing out on some good brands??
Like that pic of those clothes seem so eeeeewwww to me.... when you can see outline of everything such as camel-toe just makes me want to puke a bit.
So far from ASOS i like this - hoping quality lasts:
Posted by WarAngelPosted by dillweedPosted by WarAngelI need pictures, I don't know the difference.
i think loungewear is stuff thats between athletic wear & pajamas. but not like reindeers fleece pants. but like cute sweat suits & comfy sweaters
I'll Google it.

Hhhm may be this will help:
sleepwear = PJS
loungewear = comfortable clothing you can getaway with wearing on errands such as...

Most everything is fast fashion these days.
And the fashion industry is horrible for the environment.

Currently living in the same 4 pairs of linen/cotten blend pj pants. They are red with gold seams.
4our Dreamers is the brand
Gotta be profesh from the waist up for these zoom calls. But idk why I even try cause half the time when I meet clients on site they are in sweatpants and t-shits but driving 70k cars. Its a trip to see. Then there's me in a button up like a complete dildo head.

If you are working from home there isn’t any reason to buy new clothes to sit around in when your pjs work damn well. 😛

that's not for you to decide young lady. Mind ya own business.
I'm also a fan of velvet joggers. Idk what it is about leggings, yes I have a few pairs but wearing all day is constricting.
Also pool coverups make great lounge wear.
I have every iteration of this carmen marc valvo coverup shirt. Buy directly from the site when they have sales and its super affordable.

oooooooooooooh i'm in love!!! I have something like that but it doesn't drape no where as nicely. It's cotton and flowery not like this majestic piece over here.
been lusting after this fp set but too cheap to buy it for full price

I look like a Martha Stewart garden edition knock off 😂
If your looking to support female and black owned fashion I can't say enough good things about andrea iyamah
Yes stunning swim suits, but the pants and coverup selection is straight fire. The fit is so good. I feel like a goddess in her flowy stuff.
Some of my favs, but she has a ton of great stuff

For vintage items I shop vestiare and etsy apps.
My mom installed a love of vintage in me but by the time I was 13 I was already taller/bigger than her tiny ass and had outgrown all her treasures 😢

That's her older line, all on sale rn I believe. There's also a long sleeve romper in this same style in white and then a 2 piece top and bottoms in yellow and I think a dress in green. Love the rust color tho

Sign up for her emails or follow on instagram. She will have random sales ontop of the sale price and thats the time to buy. Like buy one item get 10% off, buy 2 items get 20% off, etc up to 40% for 4
Same I love the regal or navy blue, rustic orange, and military green. 🤩

still a bit expensive.... those gray pants are $ 95 and the white shirt is $ 135. Not crazy expensive but may be a bit for me.
Posted by SolitariusLupusComfiest lounge wear ever..
oooh nice. I don't like to wear clothes with brand name on it so i'll try to find pieces that don't have the brand on it.

I feel you. She has flash sales and thats when I've bought in the past. Hate paying full price.
The way I shopped has changed over the years. Now I will invest in one or 2 quality pieces per month or so. It ends up lasting much longer than fast fashion. I noticed this because cheaper clothes disenigrated in the wash but I still have items from a decade + ago that are holding firm. Ends up being about the same cost if you have to replace the item several times vs spending more in one go and it lasting.
Just recently snagged these veronica beard linen pants for $ 100 (originally $ 400+)

Yes, I'm trying to change to that route too... buying fewer quality pieces. It's hard at the beginning because you're like ahhhhh paying $ 100 for one piece lol. So how do you catch these amazing sales? Like $ 100 instead of $ 400 is amazing
with a light tank or sweater on top....

A few designers I'll buy directly from their website when they have flash sales. But for the most part I shop a lot online on apps. Mostly etsy, vestiare, and nordrack and nordstroms.
I'm always saving items to my wish list I like and then circling back around a few weeks later. 80-90% is sold out but sometimes you get lucky and that 20-10% still left is marked down. Then you pounce.
Been eyeing a Missoni tunic on vestiare that started at 400ish and is now under 300. If it makes it to the 150 range its mine lol
