Cough syrup. I used to take it whenever I desperately wanted to sleep but can't.
Benadryl. Not the kind with anything else in it but just the plain one.
It doesn't mess with your liver and isn't habit-forming.
If you want something natural, Valerian or melatonin (although I know a lot of people that feel hung-over after melatonin).
But hey that can be addictive..gotta be careful!

Ladies, Have any of you taken or know any brand for good sleeping Pill ?I am not sleeping well and now on the verge, this is my last resort.
Not thinking straight, can't remember things, and just plain very tired.
Any tips welcome
I know I'll be grilled for that but quarter of mg of Xanax get me calm and sleeping soundly. Haven't increase for 10 years.
If you want herbal - valerian root, Bach rescue spray, St.John wart(sp?).
Ask your local Vitamine Shoppe for it.

I use Vicks Vapor drops ointment and rub it on my chest and a little on my forehead and under the tip of the nose and also rub it on my feet and put socks on.. that knocks me out fairly quick.

I've taken it every night for allergies for 20 years. No issues. As long as you don't take it as directed (every 6-8 hours), it's out of your system. I can only take it at night because it knocks me out fast.
Lots of doctors will suggest it for insomnia before stronger meds.

A nice indica will do the trick.
My mom takes a few drops of canabis oil before bed to knock out and sleep deep.

LOL!! I didn't take it as a purple drank. I used to take it as it is...like around 10ml or so. It's maddening when you really want to have some peaceful sleep but can't.

They are not readily available here in my country you need a prescription. Sorry. Try ASMR.

It's like watching boring documentary or listening to podcast right ? Triggered to sleep.
It used to work for me. 5 mins in and I am asleep.
Not anymore now. I don't know why.

Try valerian or st.john or Bach rescue.
All herbs. Wonderfull effect.

At one point I was prescribed both ??
But once my injury healed my doctor quit with the oxy's. Now I only legally get Xany.
But I can (and do) still get Oxy illegally ?
Does not sleeping also cause Hair Loss ?
I counted my hair on bathroom floor last night; it's more than 100. This normal ?
It's been few months now and I am getting quite concern.

I heard about oxy being used as recreational drugs by some and for pain killer as well.
What injury should I have to be prescribed with one ?
Another really peaceful combo is Vistaril + oxy + a lil rum or Vistaril + Xanax.
There's no rebound/hangover the next day and you feel so refreshed when you wake up; like a new life. It feels good maaaaan ?
I personally like those combos better than the Oxy+Xanax

Insomnia deals with the mind being unable to relax. Work on easing your fears, worrying, anxiety, or whatever keeps your mind active. Also, avoid stimulants throughout the day.
I know... it's a vicious cycle.
I had to have coffee to get me going. By 2nd cup I am already a Duracell Bunny.
Meditation helps a lot, I do 2 x 30 mins (morning and night), currently it's the the only thing that keep me not doing anything strange.
Sometimes it makes it worse with the sight, etc

They do. I'd try the Valerian first. Any vitamin or health food store should have it.
