As a person ages, and lives through life experiences .... it's all a learning experience, and as you experience the same things over and over, you become a master at how to do it, how to handle it.

Admittedly, and I can go find tons of threads where Virgos admit this - they shrug off dealing with feelings.

So, if you have pushing away feelings your whole life ~ you've never learnt how to properly deal with them ... which explains why a Virgo NEVER knows how to deal or understand how they feel.

This thread comes from another one, in where a Virgo stated that they disappear and reappear because they are unsure about others ... and that is an incorrect statement.

They don't understand how they feel, and so are unsure of themselves ..... because they shrug off having to deal with emotions, so naturally, they've never obtained the necessary tools to understand even the simplest of feelings.

Any feeling at all confuses the Virgo ... now THAT is sad

The only thing that stands out to me in my limited experience with Cappies, is their uncontrollable sadness. They appear to fall into depths of depression, without much, if any, power to stop themselves.

Then I realized that in their despair is where they grow .... so, this State of Being is imperative for them, if they expect to grasp understandings of their life.

Cappys are experts at shielding up. Keeping our armour on. The more you get hurt, the more sheilds you learn to wear.

Cappys are also experts at dealing with dark moods. If we didn't experience the "depression", we wouldn't be able to enjoy the good times.

🙂

P-Angel, you're very astute, by the way.

I agree and I'll take it a little further.

What saddens me is the growing sentiment that being "emotional" is somehow a weakness when in fact its how we live. We experience by "feeling." It's like blaming your finger for sending impulses to your brain when you touch something. It's doing what it was designed to do. On a broader scale we are design up feel and experience emotions.

@Ixion: I agree with most of what you said with the exception of flirting. Most would argue the the "history" of being together is the exact reason why one shouldn't be flirting at all. While we all deal with it in different ways, the truth is that flirting is an emotional betrayal. It's the conveyance of "intimate feeling" or energy to another or to get attention from someone else with the premise being that those things are reserved for your partner. What realistically happens is that people apply a double standard. When one builds a history with someone, that other person gets a sense if security that your feelings are for them and them only. Flirting is not a mutually exclusive action so one would naturally get upset.

Case in point, I had a discussion with my Virgo best friend after he had gotten married. He's always been a flirt and that hasn't changed. I asked him what if he were cheating and then caught his wife cheating to which he said he'd be mad and would divorce her. I said but you were cheating first and you really aren't in the right to be that upset. His response? "Yeah but she didn't catch me first." My point is the rules apply whether the other person is around or not. Why? Because those are the rules you set for others and natural law says they apply to you. If you wouldn't want your lover flirting, don't flirt. Detecting flirtation is an instinct that can't be quantified by words because its energy but most know when it happens. The insult comes in trying to deny it when its obvious...hence the emotional response.

I have a awsome pisces observation

Alright, just make sure you keep it about Pisces, and don't include some heroism for Virgo in this observation, since it's about Pisces .... because we all know full well that when people can't stand what they are hearing, they tend to deflect the attention off of them, to make the point about something/someone else.

When pisces has that mental breakdown they have no brain function at all.

Indubitably

What saves her is mr virgo.

And here it is. So, your observation isn't about Pisces at all ...

btw, when Pisces is in meltdown mode .. she doesn't sit there indefinitely until a Virgo happens along to save her. Although, it looks like that is your belief.

You can't handle the truth, obviously.

Might be just your Virgo experience.
I act that way about someone I'm unsure about but I've been very clear minded about the feelings with other people before. Yet, when in those cases it doesn't work out, I become mistrusting of my own feelings. After all, only an idiot would be confident and fail and then try again with the same confidence.

This is a good observation P-angel.
I've been there for quite awhile especially during my teenage life and early 20s... I always put myself to a halt if I am unsure of what I feel, but over the years I've learn to accept and appreciate the wonderful world of emotions and try to resist the urge of running away from it. I'll share this stupid scenario I once had with my cancer bro and Scorpio sis long time ago.
We were having a convo about my nieces and nephew then suddenly my cancer bro told me that I should show a lil more compassion towards our lil pumpkins, hearing his statement I discreetly open my phone dictionary and check on compassion and read it but I cannot comprehend the word, not that I don't know what compassion means cos I know it, only that I lack the will to feel it and be it verbally and demonstrate it like water sign people does. I know that sounds stupid and it really is stupid but that was an awakening moment for me and that helped me a LOT to get in touch with my emotion by heart not by mind. I am a working progress and I can say I am more in tune now with my emotions than many years ago.

That is incredible and fantastic .... self awareness, and NO fear of the truth about yourself is what it's all about.

Kudos to you for realizing that it's ok to be wrong ... so long as you find out how to make yourself better for it.

We need more people like you.
