I'm so awkward, there would be no way I could try and even dance like that without someone laughing themselves to death LOL

I know! At first when I saw it, I was cringing (you know how you feel like it's you) with a few fingers covering my eyes but she does it sexy without being too all over the top. All the weave flipping and pelvic thrusting about in the granny-like panties are a bit played, but, I really adore her, and I love this song!

*sings*

"I wanna show you how much I appreciate you...I wanna show you how much you got girl feeling good..."

How are you otherwise? I was away with my family for a lil. I've been catching up on some things so I'll holla at ya in a pm.

Janet is the ultimate. Nuff said. Not even King B can take her place (sorry girl!) There's a special place in my heart for Damita Jo. I wish that infamous Super Bowl incident would have never taken place because I believe had it not, her career would still be fiyah. She moves so damn well. All the others have to stand down when she comes on the scene. Janet is my all time favorite.

I wonder how she feels about it...I mean being a virgo and putting it all out there like that (not in a bad way, but ya know) I bet its hard for her to watch herself, probably critiques everything...I know I would lol Yeah I love her too...she beautiful and seems so down to earth!

I'm good....just doing my thing lol How are you?

I agree VV, she's one of my favorite singers hands down. I've been faithful since puffy ponytails on 'Good Times', she embodies class and smoke. When 'Control' came out, that was it. I've been happily consuming her music ever since. I luff this..Tau pride right here. πŸ˜‰ LOL Man losing his mind.

Pole dancing...whewww the things those chicks can do....I'd be so afraid the pole would come crashing down, well first off I'd never even make it to the top of it anyway and if I did, I can't even imagine the pole burn trying to get back down...ouch!!! lol

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! She worked that pole and that floor like it was nobody's business! She's fluid as all get out. I saw a bit of cirque du soleil there too.

That's a good question. Alot of people say she looks robotic and 'dead in the eyes' like she's saying to herself "let me just get this shit over with", lol. They're saying they wish she'd stop being so afraid and just let go completely. I sense too that she's still holding back. It's hard for us 'cause I think we still like to come across as a 'lady'? Anyhoo, yea, you called it. She is very critical of herself. That's how we do.

I'm doing well. Getting ready to start a new job on Monday, so needed to take some time to make the psychological transition. I'm home right now and plan to do absolutey nothing all day but watch tv, surf the net, eat junk food, and yap on the phone. I'll be away with my family again starting tomorrow.

Check this out:

Were you nervous the first time?

I was invited to a pole dancing party once by a co-worker and kindly declined. Couldn't do it! Some of the other girls were disappointed but I didn't care. There was some mention of bringing guys in at some point and I freaked. No ma'am!

I wasn't really nervous because I got into it for the athleticism. I didn't have to deal with an atmosphere of guys ogling girls trying to shake it all which ways lol I see why you would find that uncomfortable. I had the intent of doing the acrobatic stuff for example this video is not very sexual and a bit more artistic than the sexy Taurus video (which I do love) but the amount of exertion a routine like this takes was really impressive to me. Some of the moves she does over a span of one or two seconds took months for me to learn.

Oh VV, you should really try it. this virgo girl right here actually did a few pole dancing classes my freshman year of college with my aries roommate lol. Honestly, most fun I had in a while and was a great workout. I'm honestly waiting for the day when I can have enough money to take a series of classes. I have no shame about wanting to do it again. I still remember some of the moves I was taught... now if only I had a pole...

WOW MOTHER EFFING WOW! That was amazing. She has so much power and great control in her arms and legs. An athlete she is, and manages to make it look so effortless all at the same time. That upside down split thing she did near the end was SICK.

That's great, VD. I can see why you like it. It really is art. How long have you been doing it?

I'd like to try it. Like you, I'll take a friend. Hell, I might even report back, lol. Knowing me I'll go looking like a boy with sweats, an oversized T, and a baseball cap. Haha...and I could still dress it up with some stilletos. I wanted to go when my co-worker invited me but it was a birthday party so I had no say in keeping the guys out πŸ˜› and it would of looked plain crazy for me to ditch once they showed up so I declined altogether.

In other news, err hello you can buy your own stripper pole:

Actually, the sweats would just make it a little more difficult, but I know what you mean lol. You don't even have to wear heels, or at least the beginning class didn't have to wear heels. It was optional. it was best to wear tighter clothing since you wouldn't want to get caught in looser clothing when you were spinning on the pole. It worked my abs more than any crunches could. Watching the instructors do it was so inspiring because they were incredibly athletic and sexy. Sites like Groupon or Liv

Sites like Groupon or LivingSocial have deals sometimes on pole dancing classes where you can do like 10 classes for 100 bucks. Still looking out for those deals lol.

And I know I can buy my own stripper pole lol. I just couldn't buy one and put it in our dorm at the tiime lol. I mean, we could have but we weren't sure if we had enough room. But trust me, we thought of doing that. I still might do that, but I don't know how sturdy they are.

Alright, alright, some black glitter boy shorts, a camisole, and red bottoms it is. πŸ™‚

They actually prefer you dress with bear skin exposed since it's needed to grip the pole.

I love LivingSocial. They have hands down the best deals.

This does it for me. Amazing!
I was actually looking for music by Dazz Band, in particular the song 'Let It Whip' and accidentally came across this pole dance clip.
*honestly I was searching for music clips*
Anyway, I have no idea what astro sign she is, and don't really care.
The control, style , everything, it's just incredible.
Take it away Miss Felix....I believe she's Australian, yay, go girl!

VV I've been dancing for about 4 yrs. You really should try it. It is a crazy workout!

Candeh yeah I love Florence and the machine too! and Pole dance is addictive isn't it πŸ™‚ You know if you get a platinum stage pole it's removable so you can free up space when you need to and put it back up whenever you want (but don't get a peek-a-boo pole it will break). Also there are some really good online lessons that can take you all the way to an advanced level without going to class (much cheaper too). I like the ones posted on studioveena.com. - That instructor is very thorough (A virgo of course). I've only taken lessons in a class to learn something that could cause a lot of injury without proper instruction. Or if I see a video of someone I really like on Youtube I'll take their workshop if they tour in my area or if I'm on a vacation in their area.

MoonMan Felix has mind blowing skills!! I can see why she caught your attention. Not only is she Australian but she's been the world champion I think 2 or 3 times now. She even performs in Cirque du Soleil

RT we need to tell our booskys to break out their wallets and drop those 20s like they're hot lol
