Am I Getting The Right Signal From This Virgo?

Hey there,

I have been trying to talk to and get to know a Virgo acquaintance better of late as I have been noticing her staring at me a bit. We both go to the same highschool and we are in our final year. I am trying to figure out what kind of person she is as I can usually read people well enough to not need to get to know them but she puzzles me. I can seem to tell what she intends from staring at me. I think she may have affections for me but anytime I go to text her outside of school she seems to ignore me. I'm not sure if she is playing hard to get or if she genuinely doesn't like me. When we talk at school, she seems to be OK with me and we do have laughs. She does have some pretty high standards compared to others I know.

I am just a bit confused because I am still new at this due to never being in a relationship before. I hope this was enough information and if you need more please ask. I am just looking for some idea's from some Virgo's.

I'm an older guy, so this may not relate to a teenage girl. And, keep in mind that her Venus placement is probably relevant, which you didn't specify; if she's different from me then this may not apply, too.

But when I'm talking to a crush, I reply to a message the minute I get it. I smile when I get the message, and I'm excited to keep the conversation going. I don't play games, and never have.

Pisces and Virgo are usually great matches (all of my more serious relationships were with Pisces), but the fact that she doesn't reply doesn't seem like a good sign.

Did she USED to reply, and then stopped? Did she give you her number, and then just never text back?

For the most part, yes. But we normally do most of our talking in person at school. And we usually get along quite well then. I can sometimes get a reply if I enter the conversation with a question, like last night when I asked for some tips with playing a musical instrument.

Sorry for not specifying in the first post but she has Venus in Libra.

I am normally best at face to face conversation but outside of school I don't get much time to do that due to a huge amount of homework and Projects. I am, in all honesty, shit at this texting thing.

Her Venus in Libra is probably pretty important here; I think that would affect how she shows affection and love. So mine being in Virgo would make me different.

But I ALWAYS reply to my crush, every time. So IMO, she may have liked you initially and has cooled off a bit since then.

Unfortunately, I can't suggest a way to reel her back in; once I've lost interest, it's pretty much gone forever. As general relationship advise, though, you might want to consider backing off just a little and see if she notices that you're gone. If you haven't texted her for a few days and she hasn't reached out to you, either, then that's a pretty negative sign.
