So with our venuses both being water, is that why are chemistry is so strong?
I can almost guarantee he won't make the first move but maybe if you give some strong hints at what you want it'll reassure him and he'll move forward.

It's been a long time since I have been here, so those that remember me - hello! Those who are new since I left, hello! I am seeking some feedback from you all. I have a friend whom I've known for some time and we have very good chemistry. We aren't dating but we talk and see each other for lunch or dinner a lot. We have been intimate and that area is pretty phenomenal. I know Taurus and Virgo are highly compatible but I'm waiting for Virgo to make the move with me and pursue me for dating. The two of your charts are not bad you guys understand each other emotionally and thats good for relationship. your mars and venuses are good but your mercurys are bad so you guys may have communication issues. Also his mars is opposite your venus he can hurt your feelings and try to control your actions. But the big issues is you because your chart is not balance your moon is at odds with your moon and mercury. You may feel one way and say another many lovers will be confuse by you, because of this and it will cause problems in your relationship until you balance this out.

Also, as a virgo, he may be struggling with his respect for you. Men in general have pretty bad double standards, but they seem to be even worse in virgo men. Even if he's the only person you've ever slept with out of a relationship, he's probably judging you for it.

My Virgo friend came over tonight and helped me with a few household items (he helps me out a lot). We sat down for a few minutes and starting talking about this and that. Our conversation went to our intimacy and how he seems to know everything I like. He responded with "what kind of partner would I be if I didn't pay attention to all you say?"
Hmmm....confusing man.
I'm not getting the confusing part ... why is it confusing that he pays attention?
it is possible that he already sees you as the woman he's dating and just hasn't come out and said it...if you go out to lunch and dinner, you're intimate and he comes over to fix things/help out around the house, it sounds like you're already dating to me!
What kind of change or action are you looking for exactly? Do you know if he behaves differently with women he is dating than he does with you now?
Rivas, I don't think that's it. We really don't date; we just hang out. He and I have been friends. I recently ended a short term relationshp with someone, but the Virgo stayed around and was my friend through it. He was there for me 3 weeks ago when I ended things with the other guy. Even while I was dating this other person, he helped me out with things (ran errands for me, checked in on my puppy when I had to travel on the weekends, switched out my ceiling fans, etc).
He's a single father of 3 high school students and he has sole custody of them, so much of his time is centered around them, which I highly respect.
So no, we aren't really dating, but it's almost like he and I have this silent attraction and wonderment towards one another that neither one of us will act on.
Let me add that during my short relationship with the other guy, we did not see each other nor were intimate. It's in neither of our (mine and Virgo) characters to be unfaithful.
You can explain anything with full charts, that's the funny part. There's 8 out of 12 signs present, I counted. The Virgo in me wants to keep astrology more rigid and real instead of it becoming psychobabble.
On topic: you probably work well together but don't let the Virgo become bored - there's more to life than just being comfortable!
