Do you have a fear of being alone

I have friends that are afraid of being alone all of them happen to be of air and fire signs. One is an aries and would just force his way into a relationship. I never had a fear of being alone in fact I like being alone more, sometimes I wonder do I hang around others just because society tell us we should. If I didn't need money and need to eat food I would stay home and think lol. Any ways do any of you virgos have a fear of being alone or are you crazy like me lol.

Being alone and loneliness (in most cases) are different.
Do I fear being alone? No. I need my alone time as much as I need to be with the people I am close with.
Do I fear/abhor loneliness? Yes. But it has nothing to do with me being alone.

I'm a hermit alright.
The only time I crave to be with other people is to compete with them 😛

i love it i need my space i dont like people too much people under me i can go months without calling anybody lmao.

they say virgos are very independent its true the virgos i know are the same way love space dont show to much emotions.

Nah...I'd say "let's do a trial let's...hm...let's PRETEND we're engaged for a year (shhhh, don't tell anyone else, it'll spoil the fun)...then see if we fall more in love...and if we do, we can be engaged for REAL" LOL. I figure that will give me enough time to decide if I want to spend my life with him or not. A lot can happen in a year.

I'm just not ready. I love just cleaning up after myself, I really don't want to add rugrats and a crybaby hubby to that mix. Maybe one day, but not TOday...

Oh shit, get out of my head! When I look at my pad, I say to myself "it's all good and it's gonna stay this way" LOL! I know what you mean about cleaning up after yourself...and NOBODY ELSE. Is that selfish? I have everything just so. A place for everything and everything in its place. Hmmph! That motherfucker is like a museum I tell ya. Somebody told me that when the time was right I wouldn't think twice about selling all of my shit. Yeah well, brotha don't know everything is coming with me. Worked too hard for what I got to just go selling shit away.

As for that secret engagement...yeah, clever you. I like that. It's practical because you grant yourself a decent amount of time to see if he's actually the one.

With all these voices in my head, how could I ever be truly alone? 😉

Lol your just like my girl friend every thing has to said in a certain way or it will lose it's meaning to you lol. But the way i'm talking about alone I mean loneliness. I use alone because that how my friends were describing their fear to me which I knew what they meant. Even though I knew what they meant I could not understand because I do not have such a fear. I rather be lonely than force myself with someone that I don't love or care for.

Honestly, I think it's more selfish to marry if you're not ready. At least by stalling, I'm giving the guy an opportunity to pull back with no repurcussions. I also think it's selfish to have kids you're not ready for.

Lol I see what you're saying. I don't always associate loneliness with not having someone. I have many people in my life and don't always desire a significant other. I'll be honest and admit here that for about 5 o 6 years, I was very depressed and I have anxiety issues, and one of the things I dealt with a lot was loneliness. But it wasn't because I was alone, it was because I couldn't find anyone to emotionally connect especially when I needed help; like I didn't have close friends and I couldn't go to my mother. I learned that there was two types of loneliness: social and emotional; one I had little issue with, while the other just ate me up. So, I had no problems not having anyone around, but I just had a lot of trouble talking to people, and that's what I really hated about being "alone." That's kind of what I was getting at.

No fear at all. I love living in my head. The rest of the world doesn't matter then.

I do alone well.

NOPE!...i hate when people bothered my silent mode and push me to talk when i am not in the mood to talk...

so i am fine being alone from time to time....i know how to entertain myself on my own way..
